I like coming here to have a quiet bar experience. There is no where else we can go besides ABG's to just get a drink. And we would pick this everytime over that dump. The service wasnt at all great. He helped other people first that got there after us. And couldnt get his attention to get water. The charcuterie board was plain and was missing some essentials ingredients, but overall we enjoyed it. We will definitely go again to see if the service improves.

The evening meal was wonderful and the servers were very attentive, but I was not that impressed with breakfast, which was the same price as my evening meal.

Great food, it's a great place to go for a nice dinner, but a little pricy (you don't get the full meal you should for the price), I would recommend it to anyone who wants a nice night out!

Had an amazing experience! The employees were phenomenal, the flatbread was delicious (had mushrooms, spinach and cheese) and the wine was amazing. Went here on a whim and it was great. Would definitely come back and recommend if you want a nice meal and bar atmosphere.

Tonight I was treated to the Cedar Plank Trout, The trout was on point. The rice pilaf and cranberries added just the right amount of sweet and texture.

Found this hidden gem when a girlfriend and I googled “best brunch in town” after a Sunday yoga session in Provo. The mimosas are divine and the varied menu selections never disappoint. This is our second trip back and definitely are giving this review 5+ stars! Today we shared the cheese board, buttermilk fried chicken, and Marriott Burger. Make sure to order an extra side of the mushroom risotto too, you won’t regret it. The hospitality offered from server Kelsey was exceptional. We were seated by the fire and enjoyed Slate’s inviting and laid back atmosphere. The chef even paid a visit at the end of the meal to ensure all items were prepared to our liking. Slate, thank you for hospitality. See you again soon!

My wife and I ate here for lunch during a conference. We don't often agree on food or restaurants, but both of us loved it. The turkey bacon sandwich I had was perhaps the best sandwich I've ever had. Our service was over the top. Our server went the extra mile with everything he did, without smothering. Fantastic.

We actually came here for their Slate restaurant that we found on Google. I can't say I was expecting great food at a restaurant in a hotel lobby. But, we are always on an adventure to find new great restaurants. We had their buffalo wings which were surprisingly good. My wife tried the the flatbread with mushrooms, spinach and cheese after reading the review that Tory Morgan suggested in a previous Google review. I gotta say, if you like mushrooms you will love it. I got a burger. It was pretty good but not as memorable as the wings or the mushroom flatbread. We will totally come back again soon. Even though it is in a hotel lobby, they do a good job of making you feel like you are in a restaurant. The environment is chic and the meal was nice. Our bartender/server Tol was amazing!!! He was awesome to talk to after our 6 hour drive and gave us great info about the area and things to do north of Utah. Great hospitality and great service and made us feel very welcomed in Provo. Tol’s kind soul and informative knowledge of the area is the reason for 5 stars. Can’t say the same for the manager. Food was good.

The Slate is the restaurant/bar inside the Provo Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. Utah has much stricter liquor laws than my home state of Nebraska, so I was happy to find a place that has both a bar and a restaurant. Utah tends to treat the two as separate entities. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food is OK and about what you would expect to pay in a hotel.
