Laura's Kitchen Restaurant - Provo - Photo album

I ate here for the first time today. I'm always looking for a good menudo and Laura's was fantastic. I also had a rajas tamale. My grandma is from Mexico and had her own restaurant... Tamales were her specialty. I've tried 50 different Mexican restaurants and 50 different tamale's... Each time I was
I had the Torta con Adobada (marinated pork), it was delicious! They put lettuce, tomato, avocado, and sour cream, and I added plenty of pickled jalapenos and some diced onions from their open salsa bar. I'm constantly on the lookout for good tortas and have tried nearly every restaurant in the area
Great food. I love "real" authentic Mexican food. The price is great and the food is even better. I haven't tried very many Mexican restaurants in Utah County, but this place was awesome. I tried the steak tacos which I loved and would recommend to anyone. My wife had a tamale which was to die f
Love this place! Favorite Mexican restaurant in Provo! Owner and his wife are really friendly. Great tasting food. Wish they didn't run out of tomales at times, but understand with how popular they are. Try it!
Okay, I'll bring honest and upfront with all of you... I had low expectations... (I am that way with every place... Sadly) I was expecting this place to be a 3*, C- place that I'd probably never return... But I have to tell you that the food that I just tried was truly remarkable!!! Their enchilad
My favorite Mexican restaurant. Very authentic. On weekends you can get tamales, which are worth it, all ingredients with some special soups that I love. Also, milanesa and torta dishes are winners with my family. Good prices on top of everything.
Laura's is one of my favorite places for truly authentic Mexican in Provo. It's a small place and can seem a little intimidating when you first step in if you aren't too used to a authentic Mexican menu, but there are some go-to's like a quesadilla or burrito. I challenge you to explore some of the
Great food! I love authentic mexican food and not having to get it off of a cart on the street is refreshing. Small place, good prices and yummy food :) the mild sauce still has a kick to it so if you're bad with spice like me maybe forgo putting it on. Overall great place.
By far the best Mexican food I've had in Provo, if not the entire north side of the border. Authentic, cheap, and with all the right fixins. It doesn't look like much, but that's how you know it's good. You can go get French food if you need a fancy looking place to eat in.
Great tacos! The meat was so flavorful and they had a great salsa bar with lots of options. I love to support small businesses like this one and hope they stay around for a long time because I am definately coming back!
My husband and I just found our new favorite Mexican restaurant. I am, what my husband calls a food snob, and I could not have been more satisfied with my asada torta. It was so authentic (I’m Mexican even if my name doesn’t sound like it) and seriously the best torta I’ve ever had in Utah.
On my first bite, I swear I could hear the patter of angel's feet. On the second bite, I was indeed in heaven. And upon my last bite, I shed I tear as I bid farewell to paradise. I could not believe that food THIS good could be found anywhere for under $8! Now, there's three things to note: -I gre
Seemed very popular with the locals, and the dishes indeed felt "home cooked", but I can't really decide if that was a good thing. Don't think I'll be trying it again, but the prices were reasonable and you may enjoy it more than I did.
The food (and especially the meat) was very flavorful and well seasoned. The food was ready for us not long at all after we ordered and it was freshly prepared. It was authentic and seemed very 'home-cooked'.
Four people for under $25? That's pretty impressive. The food took awhile to come out (they cook it on the spot, and they only had one lady there when we came in), but it was well worth the wait.
We go to Provo for BYU education week every year. This is our first stop when we get there. Laura's cant be beat. Love this place
Oh how I miss Laura's kitchen since we moved to Salt Lake county... Get the huarache al pastor and you'll be whisked away to a beautiful land of mariachis and wonder.
