The Rice King - Provo - Photo album

As you reading this, let me give some background: I’m Peruvian ( so I have some notion about really good food) I came here at 11:40 am And I went by myself. The rice is fine and the chicken was a little spicy (not really my taste). However, the honey walnut shrimp. Do yourself a favor and if this y
This place is surprising tasty and affordable. It features the most traditional, cookie-cutter American Chinese restaurant offerings in the combinations you come to expect from these types of restaurants. Service isn't great and the restrooms are a bit... scary, but this family-run shop is a good bi
I can't speak for dining at Rice King, but I have ordered takeout more times than I can count. The food is always great! I have tried various dishes, but I usually get the General Chicken, best in the area, hands down.
This is a fun mom and pop restaurant. That being said, the service can be a little longer than a chain, or a big restaurant, because there is a smaller staff number with the same amount of jobs to do. They took really good care of us. I always had plenty to drink and the pricing was very reasonable.
GREAT FOOD FOR GREAT PRICE!!! if your skeptical about the price being to low and worried about if the food will make you sick. It won't!!!........it's not the prettiest place in the world. But their food is great my favorite is the sweet n sour pork!!! they give you heaps of ham fried rice the be
For the price, it's hard to find something so tasty in such generous proportions around town. GET THE VEGETARIAN MENU - everything is made instead with soy protein and it's delicious. Kung pow soy chicken and Mongolian Beef are my favorite so far! The place isn't fancy in the looks department at all
This is a pretty darn good spot for Chinese food. Their lunch specials are hard to beat. No frills, just great food. Their egg drop soup is to die for. Other than that, everything is worth trying. You don't get a lot if meat with many of the entrees, choos carefully.
Friendly staff and good food. I love the almond chicken. I'm gluten intolerant and I've never become sick after eating there. I have to ask what meals can be made with white sauce, and then I stick to those meals, but I haven't become sick because of cross contamination.
Rice King has closed down. There is a new restaurant here. It is called Silver Dish Thai Restaurant. They opened on March 15. Our visit was on March 21st, only six days after opening. I thought that it was good. I was with a group of guys and everyone seemed to like it. I got thumbs-up from e
Owners are really nice and my wife and I go eat here when we are poor:D (and rich). Huge portions and really cheap. We always get ham fried rice and cashew chicken. We also go eat out a lot around provo and orem, haven't had anything top it.
Good prices and a generous lunch special. Portions are sizable and the taste is great! I usually order takeout and receive my order in a timely manner. Sometimes the place seems kind of run down, though.
Love this place. Anytime we get a craving for Chinese food this is the place we go to. Oh and if you want to eat after 9pm when a place is supposed to close at 9:30, try a fast food place. As someone who has worked in restaurants in the past, customers who come in 30 to 10 minutes before closing are
