It is a popular award winning restaurant, so we had to wait a few minutes at lunchtime. They have seating at the bar if you don't want to wait for a table. My wife had the savory stuffed sopapilla and I had the cactus combo plate #7. Both were big portions, served piping hot, and delicious. Service was quick and attentive. Right now they have a special Lavender Margarita that is terrific!
Always a busy place on the weekends but good drinks and food. They give chips n salsa while you wait....margaritas are always good and so is the food. The waitress got the chili confused on one of the combination plates but it was still good and she was the most friendliest happy bubbly waitress I've had in along time....she was really great! I believe her name was kevia or something along those lines. Super great waitress!
Always busy but always tasty! They do not take reservations or call aheads and after you see the hostess (to get in line to be seated) they have text service which let's you know when your table is ready. They will not seat you unless your entire party is at the restaurant. Worth noting.
Service is very good, drinks are sublime and food is quality with large portions.
This place was recommended by a friend and WOW! This was some of the best Mexican food I have ever had!! The green chili (I did 1/2 &1/2) on the pork and avocado burrito was awesome!! Just the right amount of heat but didn’t make my tongue numb!! Really great value and totally worth driving from Colorado Springs. Very nice staff as well. We’ll done!!
Service is #1 in Pueblo. This is the best place to sit for the atmosphere, it felt like eating in my grandmother's dining room. The food tho, wow. Ordered the sizzling fajitas, enough to feed two people. Thank you Cactus Flower, authentic food and people. Be back soon!
Came here a few weeks ago while on vacation with my boyfriend in Colorado Springs. Fantastic hidden gem in Pueblo. Our waitress, Mercedes, was wonderful. Above and beyond with everything. Food was delicious and drinks were awesome. Great environment and atmosphere. Definitely recommend!
