It was a bit of a drive from Ft. Myers FL and I drove thru a massive storm. Was a bit hesitant because it looked like I was headed to Nowheresville but this was well worth it. The place is no frills but the food was excellent and so was the service. Even the servers not assigned to you checked in to ensure everything was going well. They were out of the large blue crab but the medium ones were sufficient and meaty. They were also not offering the all you can eat blue crab as advertised which is why I went. I would recommend this place.
The service & cleanliness was excellent! The server we had was very polite and she also was very quick to satisfy our every need. I had no complaints and I will definitely be back! There was live music, which created a great atmosphere and made it great to enjoy our food. The blue crabs were the best I’ve ever had!
Born and raised in MD, I have to say the "blue crabs" were nothing less than we had in MD. They couldn't have be better. The waitresses are the best. Not only does your girl service you but every employee that went by the table asked if we needed more tea or was everything ok or did we need anything. Most people who didn't know better would drive right on by, so don't let the outside keep you away. It's quite the Key West style inside with dollar bills all over the walls. We'll definitely spread the word. A little treasure on Rt 17.
Absolutely loved the crabs. I'm from Maryland and I finally found a place to get my steamed crab fix. Everyone down here wants to boil everything but not this place. They do it right!!Glad I found you guys. Will be frequenting at least once a month.
Being from southern Maryland this place is the best if you want Maryland style blue crabs. A blue crab is a blue crab whether from the Potomac, Patuxent or the peace river. It’s the way they are prepared and Peace River Seafood has it down!!
From the hostess, the bird helping call you to your table, the server and the delicious blue crab and shrimp... it was an extremely wonderful experience! So 5 stars it is and the bird gets an extra star!
Great food great service. Tried the gator gumbo, it had a wonderful flavor. Get there early, it closes early evening.

We Head blue crabs which was the first time for us. The staff was very helpful in showing us how to tackle these very very tasty creatures. Couldn’t get fresher than what we had and we will definitely be going there again. Key lime pie was excellent and probably the best we’ve had in Florida.
Great surroundings and music . Some of the best shrimp and clams I’ve ever had and beer too!

My husband and I were ending our honeymoon and wanted to stop at one more seafood restaurant before flying out and this place was perfect! The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. We ordered the crab chowder and triggerfish sandwich with coleslaw. I hope we can visit the restaurant again sometime, there's more I'd love to try. I highly recommend!
(3)Garlic Crab Clusters orders to-go, what a surprise when I got home. Unfortunately, my guest had arrived, otherwise, I would have taken the Crabs right back. It was like the cook, compile all the leftovers from days before and served it within this three orders. The little meat we found inside the shells, was black, had absolutely no taste, not garlicky smell, even a single piece of garlic was found and neither of the three orders. I was embarrassed, and we got rid of it "Crabs".
I have eaten there many times, and never I had a meal like this this. This was a total disgrace to this place. (See photos)

True to his word, management invited us to visit and dine at the restaurant. Once again, we had an excellent meal, as we normally do. The service was outstanding, the Crabs as good as they get. (New photos) Thank you for your outstanding Customer Service!
WOW! All you can eat blue crabs for $45. Put a big dent in that! We were a party of 15 out on the deck. Had GREAT service. Plenty of beers and oh my god, they always had the crabs coming. Never ran out. There is an expansive menu for those who don’t eat crab. Sat outside with a large fan running. This was fantastic because we are from the west coast.

Wow what a place.. Fresh is the word..All you can eat fried Mullet was fantastic. Crab cakes awesome ..yet the basic burger had some great tasting meat.Yet with this was a 1/2 baked potato and ear of corn!The server was great also.. my first visit.Will surely return.

They started by bringing you a smoked mullet for an appetizer the seafood was very fresh
the shrimp was very crisp and juicy steam to perfection
the crab cake was full of crab just enough seasoning not to overpower the crab and gave it enough to complement it!
The sweet tea was very sweet I mean very sweet it’s a little house turned into a restaurant it’s decorated with nautical with dollar bills signed by customers all over has a little deck you can sit outside the seafood is caught by locals outstanding staff was very pleasant always checking to see if you need anything

We were treated to Steamed Blue Crabs here by relatives who had recently moved to this area. If you are from Maryland, this is the place for you. Very reasonably priced crabs steamed the way you request.

This little gem really makes an amazing Clam Chowder! It's made fresh every Tuesday, which happens to be the first time I patronized this wonderful establishment. Now also on that faithful day Trigger Fish was on special, which I tried also. It was delicious. Chris was my server and he gave great service. There was a minor issue where I was charged twice* for my 🐟 sandwich. This was rectified as upon my return I was paid back in cash. They sell a variety of Cannabis products CBD, THC delta-8, etc. Now I cannot comment on those products as I did not partake but its nice that you can vape and then enjoy the added benefit of some of the best "munchies" Cheech and Chong could ever ask for! Now depending on your personal preferences you may not like that they served the food I ate on disposable plate/bowl. Having been a former dishwasher I can see the advantages of such a policy and it certainly did not detract from the scrumptious grub. The flip side is it creates more waste but, does save water.
For out of towners or "Snow Birds" I'd highly recommend at least trying this place (the locals already know this place well.) It had great food, a nice ambiance and made for a nice meal. Keep in mind it's not inexpensive but, you get what you pay for, or at least I think so.
* I attribute the check error to the fact that they just recently switched from orders being made on paper to a little computer the waiters have. I wanted to comment on this point as staff was friendly and there is a learning curve to the implementation of new technologies.

I tried the all you can eat blue crab 🦀 today. It is really good. I'm from the DMV next to M.D so I know good crabs just ask for extra old bay.
It's old style Florida. That's just one of the reasons we love it. Love that they are now serving potato salad with the blue crabs. I'm a Maryland girl, so what's not to love about blue crabs.
If you want Chesapeake bay style blue crabs in South West Florida this is the place to come. They have fresh catch seafood as well, but this is a great spot to come and enjoy some good seafood, maybe a little live music and a cold drink. My family and I loved this place. Grouper sandwich was huge and so fresh, fried lobster bites were cooked to perfection and the crabs were #1 sized and cooked perfect. We will come back.
