Review Mazzio’s - Purcell

I keep giving this restaurant a chance but I’m consistently disappointed by the quality. It’s always soggy and very very greasy… I love Mazzio’s pizza but this is the worst one of their restaurants. Management if you see this please talk to your crew about putting a little more care in the pizza they make. Sheesh!

I watched an employee add toppings to a sandwich (lettuce tomatoes pickles ) without gloves, wipe his hands on his pants, then grab the sandwich to cut it in half, all without gloves on. I was inside and told the people that the sandwiches went to about it

The staff was friendly and helpful. The salad bar was a little disappointing. The usual variety was not available. The pizza was better than good but not how I would describe as delicious. I would prefer to give 3.5 stars rather than 4, but the visit was definitely above just 3 stars.

Mazzios has been great since we moved to Purcell. I would rate them higher but there have been a couple mishaps, nothing major but; on 10/10/21 we order a couple of pizza, one being a supreme. When we got it it was missing a few veggies and meat categories. A photo is being attached to this post for reference.

I see my complaint has already been said. We ate at Mazzios in Purcell so i saw the same thing. People handling food did not wear gloves and wiped their hands on their shirt and then went right back to touching food. Even what appeared to be the manager who was cutting and boxing food did not wear gloves. Shame on you this should be a health code violation. Yuck yuck yuck!!! Also seemed like they were more concerned about their delivery orders than refilling their buffet with pizza. Asked for a pizza other than pepperoni or sausage and it finally was put out about 35 minutes later. We dont go to Mazzios very much and we sure wont be going now.

The pizza was hot and delicious 😋 We loved the salad bar. The cinnamon desert was a very nice texture and delicious. The calzone was also great! The cheese sticks were awesome! And best of all, the staff was very hard working and friendly. Thank you so much for replacing our dropped slice with a small delicious thin crust! You guys rock!

Just pushed my sister 2 blocks in her wheelchair to go eat lunch!!! They told us we had to leave cause they didn't have change for a hundred. I was going to leave my sister there and go get change and come back the lady said no we had to leave that she didn't have change. I had to push my sister back home with out lunch!!! We eat there regularly and this is the first time ever we saw this lady and she was rude and mean!!! Not trying to help us the customer get change to sit and eat. We obviously had the money!!!

Honestly this Mazzios isn't as good as the one in Ada or surrounding areas. They may have just had an off day but I wasn't really that impressed with the food. Service was pretty decent
