Delicious butter brickle ice cream. It was very fresh and creamy, and had a lovely texture. The brickle was perfectly crunchy. The prices were reasonable and service was really good. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating !

This place offers the finest selection of ice cream with an array of mouthwatering flavors! The staff is not only friendly but also maintains a spotless environment. After a refreshing bike ride along the WO&D trail, indulging in their ice cream was the perfect treat we needed.

We walked in and said we had not been here before and we didn't know what we were doing. Staff was sooo helpful and steered us to two great flavors, cherry cobbler and butter brickle. They ice cream was delicious and the toppings complimented them very well. Added bonus, check out the spoons they provide.

After a long day of disc golf playing my cousin stopped me to get ice cream at Tipped Cow Creamery. Now Walking into was little awkward I won't lie but ice cream and the location was very good and the ice cream had its own texture was different than any other one I've ever tasted which made a unique and tasteful. I got the cotton candy and my cousin got the chocolate. Chocolate was very rich and delicious and the cotton candy was very sweet, good for kids 😄 I would recommend at least stopping by and tasting it. Thanks for amazing Ice Cream. 🙏😁

So good! I got a scoop of Twix ice cream in a cake cone and my boyfriend got a scoop cookies and cream in a cup. The scoops were big so one was plenty for us! After we got the ice cream we sat outside on the patio and enjoyed a beautiful sunset.

Almost every locale in Purcellville is a small town business. Tipped Cow Creamery makes strong case why small town businesses are just better than well-known ice cream parlors. Tipped Cow is the only place I can get some of my favorite flavors like sweet cream and chai tea ice cream. Super thick, full-bodied, and extra creamy. Can you blame me for rating Tipped Cow so high? Eating ice cream at Brusters, Ben & Jerry, Ritas, Cold Stone, or Dairy Queen are just fleeting moments of joy and if I can choose between them all, I would choose local hand made Tipped Cow any time.

Cute decor. Clean and inviting. Fair pricing. Generous serving size. My devil's food cake icecream was really just chocolate...it wasn't dark or rich as most devil's food items tend to be. It was however very creamy and smooth. The cookies and cream scoop...that was on point! Tons of cookie pieces, creamy and smooth. Great flavor. The chocolate chip cookie dough lacked any discernable chocolate chips. It did have cookie dough pieces but overall tasted like a neutral vanilla with cookie dough. It was still 100% eaten...because yeah...icecream. Fun stop. The real cream and sugar can be tasted. The ice creams were not laden with ice crystals... the "no samples" policy helps ensure that. Worth a stop.

Was eavesdropping at another business in town and overheard the “tipped cow” being dropped in conversation about “best ice cream in town”. We passing through on our way to Harpers Ferry and are from out of state. I like the creamery patina, do I think it’s an ideal location?..not so much but I respect the story behind the expansion from the Monks BBQ. Did I think fair price..sure I did! Did I think friendly staff..you bet I did! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. My only stickler is taste...not sure why “natural” or creamery style ice cream isn’t more flavorful?. When people indulge in sweet treats...their not worried about calories!! If your going to have signature flavors..their gonna have to pop more in the mouth:)..just sayin’. And might want to revamp the the presentation of menu items and flavors..can get a bit mixed in the jumble of sidewalk chalk fonts fit into a very tiny area.

Service was great. The young ladies were patience and friendly. The ice cream was good. The shop was very clean. I love the location. There are tables outside where you can sit, enjoy your ice cream, and enjoy the view of the mountains. Their counter is high, and you can't see the ice cream. Not a typical ice cream shop where there is a display for me to look and choose. I got the mint chip. I like that they didn't add green coloring to make the ice cream look minty. The mint flavor is nature. Tasted it they used mint leaves for flavoring. The strawberry ice cream was good too. The strawberries were cut in tiny cubes and they were frozen and too cold for me. There were also some chocolate coating this transparent slightly chewy pieces in the ice cream. I think it's from the strawberry ice cream. Not sure what they were but they were good. I really enjoy that. The portion was generous. I will definitely stop by again if I'm in the area again.

I love the ice cream but I would also like to have more personality from the staff considering they're working at a more unique place than Baskin-Robbins.

Good ice cream and friendly staff but I wouldn’t make the drive out there from Fairfax again just because there are a lot of equally good ice cream restaurants along the way. Ps The BBQ place next door Monk was a surprise and is delish!

Great flavor in the two things we tried, Coffee Milkshake and the Peach Sorbet. I make homemade ice cream and prefer a smooth, almost fluffy, sorbet so did not enjoy the icy chunks in the sorbet. But they were peach flavored and refreshing nonetheless. I'd give 5 stars if it was just a tad less sugary (which may not have been the case if the base were churned more thoroughly). Wasn't very busy for a summer weekend so there were plenty of tables both in and out. Lots of parking, too.

The ice cream is fantastic. Luke was an absolute artist in the way he drizzled chocolate syrup over my boysenberry ice cream. A cool slice of heaven.

The ice cream is great! The mint chocolate is real mint and was the best I’ve ever had! I would definitely bring water though because it is rich!

Fantastic homemade ice cream! Good customer service. The chocolate is to die for, good cookies and cream, decent mint chip. Will definitely get more each trek I make for Monk’s next door. Don’t even think about not first getting Monk’s before this sweet treat!

I came in today specifically to try the eggnog and peppermint mocha. They both exceeded my expectations. Perfectly flavored and not overly sweet. My favorite was the peppermint mocha. I haven’t tried anything like it before and it was divine. The eggnog tasted exactly how you would expect, creamy, sweet and delicious. In our party we also tried the blackberry and cookie dough. Everyone agreed they were ALMOST as good as the eggnog.
