Phenomenal cracker crust thin pizza! Been eating here for 20 years and have never had a bad pizza or bowl of soup! Easily the best pizza in Racine, maybe even in the whole State. Friendly efficient service in a wonderful historic building with a throw back vibe.

I came to the Wells Brother Restaurant last week with my father for my first time to dine in. My father highly recommend I try the food here. I had the fettuccine grilled chicken Alfredo. It was delicious, I almost could not finish it. . It comes in a big plate bowl. I am a big fan of this place from now on. The house salad was huge and very tasty as well. I would like to also thank our waitress Winter for her hospitality and excellent service.

While here in Racine, WI I had the good fortune to be directed to Wells Brothers Italian Restaurant. This is a Racine landmark. They’ve been at 2148 Mead Street in Racine since 1921. What’s their secret? Delicious food, friendly service, and family ownership. I had pizza. Amazing pizza. Pizza that I could not stop eating. That’s how good. Wells Brothers pizza has a light, airy, crispy crust. Best pizza crust I’ve ever eaten. The pizza sauce is a delight. Too many places either have too sweet or too bitter sauce-Wells Brothers gets it right. Their pizza toppings are fresh, tasty, and plentiful. They pile it on in near perfect proportion. The history of the place is fascinating. They’ve survived and thrived for a hundred years. Even a tragic fire did not slow them down. It was an opportunity to rebuild and keep moving on. The service is top notch. The atmosphere is local, historic…classic. Parking is a breeze. They have their own lot across the street. If you are anywhere near Racine, WI, Wells Brothers Italian Restaurant is a must do. That’s right, a MUST DO.

Super thin, cornmeal crust pizza. I love the nostalgia of the bar, the dining room is tiny and quaint. We always start with an appetizer. Very fond of the fried green beans. I always send out of towners here for pizza. I can’t say enough about the friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Everything tried so far is very very good. Great quality and value. House salad for two is generous size and lots of toppings. Pizza bread cheesy with great marinara sauce. Calamari is real deal. Pizza is thinnest cracker cornmeal crust i ever had, excellent and a ice cold Hamms beer for 99 cents , cant be beaten. Busy place.

I don’t often give 5 stars because it’s rare that a service business can’t improve something about their customers’ experience, but Wells Bros comes close. The pizza is simply the best. The service was fast and attentive. Even though the restaurant was crowded the night we went, it didn’t feel crowded and wasn’t loud. The restaurant isn’t in the best of neighborhoods, but there’s an off-duty officer outside the restaurant making guests feel safe. Another important sign that the restaurant cares about customer experience.

Our long time favorite pizza place closed last week forever. Wells Brothers was recommended by our son and his wife. It did not disappoint. In fact we were very pleased. A small dinning area but great food and service. It is no wonder that they have been in business for 100 years.
