Our local family restaurant. They always have great food & wait staff very polite. All home made soups & great specials. Serves breakfast & lunch. Fridays open later for fish frys. I had their special today. The strawberry chicken salad..it was awesome.

Our service was awesome, like going out to eat 20 years ago, meaning the waitress was very caring. The food was great! The bill was $60 for 4 people. After 10am they serve breakfast and dinner. So good and so reasonable that we went Saturday and Sunday!

This is the spot! Best Breakfast/Brunch in town. This place is spotless clean and the service is wonderful. The food is always consistent and I can’t believe how quick the food comes out. The prices are extremely fair! This is why we keep coming back. Thankful for Douglas Diner!

I've never had a bad meal here. Tonight was no exception. My old reliable: chopped black angus steak with enough grilled onions to qualify as a serving of veggies, green salad with cukes and tomatoes, and the fabulous chicken dumpling soup, full of chicken, carrots and celery. Was tempted by the perch and the shrimp scampi, but this was a beef night.

I have been here several times. Place is big, and very clean. But I must say today was my LAST TIME THERE!! I asked for a veggie omelet. As I was eating it, an older person walked by me and I thought to myself " this guy pooped on himself!" But no! It was my food! Something on my plate was disgusting! The smell unbearable!!! I tell the waitress, she does not acknowledged what I tell her, calls the owner over and she asks if I want to ORDER something else! Really??? What makes you think I want to eat there again??? Never said "I'm sorry" never bothered to look at the plate... Nothing! I paid for something I did not eat! And now feel sick! Don't go there!!!

Great the first two times! Disappointing the rest.... I don't know if it's the impossible no substitutions rule or the frowning waitresses I've had lately, but this place has gotten less and less charming. I was so frustrated with the fries I don't like coming with everything, I just ended up getting a baked potato which came to the table crunchy and undercooked. My dad complained about the chili. My mom's fish sandwich looked even less appealing than the ones you get from McDonald's. What happened? The crepes I had the first time there were pretty good, and the California Burger was exceptional on the second visit, but for now that's all I can recommend. We won't be making the trip out here anymore.
