Some of the most absolutely delicious mexican food around. The simplest of things about the place the great chips and salsa to the amazing mexican rice, makes the meal for me. The entree itself of course delicious has a wide variety to choose from! This place has a great atmosphere right in the middle of downtown and great food makes it a go to for a good night on the town.

The owners are very nice and the atmosphere is average. The drinks are fine at the bar. The food is pricey and under-seasoned, we were definitely underwhelmed- and remembered why it had been a few years since we dined here.

I have read some of the bad reviews on here and I must say, I am shocked! This is a small, charming, family-owned establishment and I frequent it very often since I moved to Downtown Racine. I am always greeted by a friendly smile from the bartender, who is married to the owner, Blanca. Blanca is an accommodating, charming, beautiful woman who makes sure I am always happy when I am there. Her husband is just the same, and even loans me his phone charger he keeps at the bar when I need it.
When I come it it is to unwind and I start with a margarita on the rocks. I have traveled all over the world including Asia, Europe, Mexico, Canada, and the West Indies, and I am telling you...I have never tasted a better margarita!!!!!!! They are phenomenal! It is worth the trip in just to have one of those.
As far as the food goes, I have ordered several things on the menu and everything was delicious and fresh, especially the guacamole. The service is excellent and the ambiance is relaxing.
I highly recommend this place. One thing I have noticed is it is not ever that busy and maybe it is because of the bad reviews, but I can say those reviews are not similar to my wonderful experience every time I go in. Come see for yourselves! It is worth it!

Service was great and all of the staff was friendly! The food was not up to their level however. The rice and beans tasted funny and my vegetarian quesadilla had canned green beans and carrots in it. I would recommend a new chef who matches the rest of your staff!

Felt very rushed, couldnt hang out chatting in the bar area with our girlfriends, only a few select workers were nice
Some meals were very spicy
We we're looking forward to having alot if laughs and enjoying ourselves, however that didn't happen till we were finished and out the door

First & last time dining here! We were rushed from the bar to our table, the chips seemed to be stale, the rice was mushy with no flavor and the chicken in the enchiladas tasted off, I was done after 5 or 6 bites. Do not waste your $$ here.

This was our second visit to this restaurant. It's a mix between a bar on one side and a restaurant on the other side. The owners were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The food was very good, hot, and fresh. We went there on a Sunday and there was a small crowd of locals in the bar side watching the Green Bay Packers football game. We're from Illinois and Chicago Bears fans. No one made us feel unwelcome. It was a pleasant lunch for us.
