2023 was the first time my family experienced the magical Christmas at the Angus Barn! The atmosphere was top notch inside and out! Staff waiting to offer to take a family photo. Once seated you are brought two heaping scoops of two different cheeses along with crackers and an assortment of marinade olives and peppers . I ordered a steak and my two teenagers ordered a burger off the child's menu and they could not finish it. We all had more than enough food. The Hubs and I shared a cheese cake that is equally excellent. On the way out the door to my surprise we were each handed soft gingerbread cookie and shocker it was amazing

If you love steak and Christmas, then this place is for you. We went on a Sunday without reservations and waited maybe 15 min to be sat at the bar in the Wild Turkey Lounge. The food was great and I highly recommend the chocolate chess pie warmed up a bit. Of course, it’s a bit pricey, so save this place for a special occasion. Would definitely return!

This is hands down the best thing to do around Christmas! Nothing can possibly beat this! So fun. We did a 9:30 reservation and got there at 8, we walked around, got drinks, checked out the cigars and decor. So fun! Food was great, huge portions, tons of leftovers!

Went to the Angus Barn for our Anniversary and it was amazing. Our waitress was the sweetest and so awesome. It was our first time going and we've always wanted to go, they did not disappoint. I will definitely be going back in the future.

Absolutely top-notch steak house! The atmosphere and service are outstanding and the food across the board starting with the complimentary home made cheese and cracker basket and relish tray all the way to the "best I have ever had", Chateaubriand, this place just exceeds all expectations! The wine flight of 6 top notch wine selections pairs well with any of the steaks including the amazing prime rib my wife ordered. The Ceasars salad with home made dressing is also a must have perfect March with the steaks. You simple must try this place. Did I mention the service is absolutely 5 star, as well!!!

Angus Barn located at 9401 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27617 is one of my all time favorite restaurants anywhere in the World. This place deserves 6 Stars!⭐️ Their food is superb, the decor is superb, and the servers are tremendous. From the Ribeye to the Lobster tail (16 oz Maine!) it was great. The Appetizers also were delicious. It was a humongous meal and fairly priced too. Christmas decor is what’s going on there currently and it’s gorgeous. Their Pound cake is tremendous! There also is a cigar locker for those who wish to lite one up. Cheese and crackers spread come complimentary before the meal (and are easy to fill up on!!). Their gift shop is great too. Server Sophia was a sweetheart. This place is worth traveling a few hours for…….. I invite you to follow my reviews - I travel the Planet (Music Producer who Produced Star Wars John Williams Clarinet Concerto with JW Directing his work). I was looking for a nice place to eat while we were in town, and I discovered that this place was booked for all holidays until January 2024. Luckily, we were able to get reservations late Sunday night before we left. Between the service, the quantity and quality of the food, and the very relaxed atmosphere, we really had an excellent experience. If you get a chance to eat here, you definitely should. You'll be glad you did.

The Angus Barn never disappoints, and it's extra special when decorated for the holidays! Every inch of the venue/restaurant, both outside and inside is impeccable. The food and service was fabulous as well. I recommend getting the filet mignon and half rack ribs combo, loaded mashed potatoes and salad. We were surprised by an Angus Barn pound cake for our anniversary. The chocolate chess pie is mouth watering good - buy a pie from their country store for $25 to take home and enjoy heated a la mode. Yummy!

Definitely a 5 Star experience all the way around. The tour of the wine cellar was spectacular. The service was first class all the way around. And the Christmas decor was unreal! Started my "Reason for this Season" off perfectly!

There are no words to describe this place. Absolutely one of a kind and Absolutely a must visit. For all the 1st comers, please take an extra 20+/- minutes and ask for the tour. It is most definitely worth your time. I have been in many many restaurants in my life time, if there is only one that stands out, this is it. Like i said, no words can really put it in perspective. Above and beyond anything one can imagin. Its definitely a must. I have way more pictures than i want to post here. Their Cheese and Crackers is mind blowing. One can get full on just that, and you haven't scratched the surface yet. Few tips: 1-Reservation is almost a must, especially for more than a couple groups. 2-Be ready for lots of pictures as it has several unique things and some documented record breaking displays. 3-Come hungry, because the food is absolutely amazing.

This was our first time at Angus Barn and we lucked out with a same day reservation for 4pm. We took our boys (ages 2 and 4) and had a wonderful time! The Christmas decorations are next level and the food was delicious. We brought along several small toys to entertain our boys but they also have an adorable toy chest where kids can pick a toy. The service was also great and this will definitely be a new family tradition for us around Christmas time!

The Angus Barn never disappoints! This is an absolute treasure to Raleigh and the entire state of North Carolina! If you haven't been or you're just passing through, you MUST experience this amazing place! The food is superb. The wine, 🤌🏼spectacular. The service, top notch. The atmosphere, unmatched. This is not just a restaurant, it is an unforgettable experience! Take the tour after dinner and it is reminiscent of playing as a child in a big house where you'd never discover the end of it! I highly recommend visiting around the holiday season to see all the lights and festive decor! Snag an apple on your way out! GO! Bon Appétit! 😉

Beautiful decoration and very friendly staff. Not impressed with the food variety but the taste was good. The Christmas decoration was lovely and I enjoyed seeing it. The best part was definitely the decorations.

The place is all done up for the holidays. I think they had to build a new power plant for all the lighting! I've had better steaks so might recommend something else. Wander around the property either before or after to see all the displays.

My husband brought me here this past weekend. It was the first time I've ever been. This was a lovely experience and we are looking forward to coming back, hopefully soon. Our server, Scott, was so nice to us, and even gave us a tour of the establishment, telling neat little stories of the history. The wine was delicious, the appetizer was delicious, the food was delicious, the dessert was delicious. Amazing experience, and is definitely the PERFECT spot for a nice, romantic dinner.

Updated review: I have now been to Angus Barn three times and the food has been consistently so good!! The stuffed potato is the way to go for the potato side, and make sure you asked for the bread and butter. I had to update my review to add pictures of the INCREDIBLE holiday decorations - seriously, now I understand why they book out for the holidays by the spring. The lights and other decorations are unbelievably beautiful and if you can score a reservation for next year sometime during November or December I highly recommend it. — We came for my boyfriend’s birthday last night and had the best time. All of the food was incredible, and the Caesar salad was the best we’ve ever had. We also really enjoyed the relish tray of pickled vegetables and the bread with honey butter. The service was excellent as well- Stephanie was so great and definitely made our visit special. She even brought out a cake for my boyfriend’s birthday (with candles!) and it was such a thoughtful end to the meal. Definitely looking for an excuse to come back ASAP

I come to RTP often for work, and never realized this hidden gem was in the area all along! What made me go to them to dine were the many reviews that said they they had a separate gluten free menu. What I did not expect is how beautiful the location and the restaurant itself was! I was lucky to visit it close to the holidays where the place looked like Christmas originated from there!! Every inch of the restaurant was magnificently decorated and was a visual treat. The food was excellent and they did indeed have a completely separate gluten free menu. Server was knowledgeable and got me a gluten free cheese and crackers plate too. My beef ribs with the red wine jus was heavenly. Although pricey, the restaurant is a must visit for whoever visits RTP. Highly recommend.
