This place was great.
The taste in the dishes was mouth watering and worth every bite. Lots of flavor.
The waitress and service was great.
The seats were very uncomfortable and the atmosphere was cold and a little dreary.
Would definitely go back.
A great hidden gem in Raleigh, we were greatest with a smile when we first walked in and then quickly seated. The server was prompt and very friendly. She took great care of us through the entire mean always making sure to keep drink glasses full and helping me choose between two of the menu items. We started our meal with a chicken Satay and the curry peanut sauce was well balanced between it's sweetness and curry flavors. For my entree I ended up going with the General Mao's chicken and my fiance got the Beef and Black bean. The food was delivered to our table quickly, it was fresh and hot. The flavor profile was well balanced with a subtle but complex array of flavors that felt full on the tongue. I had tried their blood orange Sunrise drink, pear sake, oj, and a splash of cherry juice I highly recommend it. We both finished our plates, the server thanked us again before leaving. The prices are reasonable in my opinion, for the two of us to eat only cost 50.00 before tip. If you have a free evening you should stop in and grab a bite to eat I promise you will not be disappointed!
Wow!!! We were in the area and had to stop somewhere for lunch and stumbled upon David's. It was incredible!!! The service was great, our waitress was so sweet, the food came out really quick and it was delicious. We loved it as well as our kids. Really affordable prices for lunch. We'll be back! Our favorites were the Hot & Sour Soup, pan fried dumplings, and sesame chicken!
This place was great, the staff was super friendly and attentive, we went about an hour to close and were out before closing time and weren't rushed at all. The portions are very large and the prices are reasonable for the serving sizes. I think i paid $60 for both of us after tip. And we both had enough for leftovers.
I went to an event at NC State and stopped here afterwards. I would say that the dumplings are really good and I recommend them as an appetizer. The main dish I had was okay but was lacking a bit in flavor. I've had a lot of authentic SE Asian food, and this was more Americanized. Overall, nice restaurant.
We went on a Saturday at 5pm, no wait. Staff was friendly and the food came out quickly. Food was yummy! We ordered the edamame and half fried dumplings, both were good but the entrees were tastier. The lo mein in particular was delicious!! If we go back we’ll order that again and try other dishes. All in all, great experience and our whole family loved the place.
Service good. Atmosphere was nice. Dishes a bit to salty. Ate here like 4 years ago and seems like the dishes were better. But, still, not bad. Not sure if we would go back again.
Amazing and authentic Asian food!!!! Everything was on point here compared to others. From Malaysian Chicken Curry with Indian Roti to just salt and pepper wings I was completely satisfied. Definitely somewhere you should check out.
Our server, Wing, was a delight and took great care of us while the staff was short handed.
The pork dumplings, hot n sour soup (with homemade crunchy noodles!), hunan shrimp (see photo), and Ginger Garlic Chicken were all top notch. The chicken is tender and velvety. All veggies were fresh, fresh, fresh!
This is arguably the best Asian restaurant in the Triangle. Enjoy!
Wow. I was not expecting to be blown away by this place. I checked out the reviews and and decided to give it a shot for Valentine’s Day (Feb ‘18). I’m so glad I did, as this might be my new go-to place for delicious Asian food.
Service was impeccable - fast, friendly, helpful, and attentive (never had to ask for a thing!). Food was beyond tasty - loads of flavor in every dish we tried. Honestly, the Pork Steam Buns might be one of my new favorite dishes in the triangle - they are that good. As far as price, this is only slightly pricier, if not about the same price depending on what you order, as our neighborhood Chinese place, and this place is leaps and bounds better. With that said, I will absolutely choose David’s now!
Happy customer and will return!
This has become a favorite Asian place to go for lunch on Sundays.
The dumplings are always fresh!
On our numerous visits we have had the Malaysian chicken curry, wonton soup, hot and sour soup, half fried dumplings, the fresh summer rolls, Vietnamese fried chicken spring rolls, and other dishes.
They were all delicious!
My son insisted that we get dumplings for dinner- so to Google we came and found that on a Friday night we can probably get a seat at 7:00. The menu is good- as is the service. The steam buns seemed to be a popular option.
Service was great 👍. Atmosphere was great. I ordered a spicy chicken dish. It wasn't spicy. My friend who can't eat spicy tried it and said it wasn't spicy at all. He ordered 2 different dumplings. One he wasn't as pleased with as the other. But I would come again. The kitchen is very easy to please when it comes to your dishes. They substitute or 86 items you do or do not want.
amazing little hidden gym that I feel like a lot of people don't know is there. The food is delicious and the service I great, everyone is nice and polite. The atmosphere is good very relaxing and the lights are like the perfect brightness.
I honestly could not say enough great things about the food!! I had the open top shrimp and pork shui mai dumplings and Malaysian curry noodle soup and both were exquisite!! The server was very nice and the food came out quick. I look forward to visiting again next time I’m in Raleigh.
