Daily Planet Cafe - Raleigh - Photo album

This place is inside the NC Museum of National Sciences so the atmosphere is fun. Be prepared for lots of kids which is not a bad things. Food is yummy and comes out pretty quick. Staff is friendly. Very environmentally friendly with compostable plates, cups, etc. A little pricey but not outrag
I mean these must be the nicest employees I’ve ever come across anywhere! The three girls working behind the coffee counter thus morning on 7/28 talked to my 3&5 year old, took care of all their needs, and were so friendly and fun that I was able to eat my lunch! Normally I get one bite when I’m alo
Not a ton of space to sit. There wasn't too many people when we went, not busy at all. The food was actually pretty good. Price is a little higher but it's a museum. Some of the staff are not helpful and try to avoid eye contact. You get a buzzer for when your food is ready, I had 2 orders and when
Food was delicious. They don't really have many outlets though so it's hard to work and hangout there. I got the avocado toast and the toasted chicken salad brie sandwich. So good.
Love that the patio is dog friendly here!! They brought our dog a water bowl and treats which was super thoughtful and appreciated 😊 Overall, a nice place to grab a beer or coffee and hang with our pup and you can order food online too which makes it even easier to enjoy. Thank you for being a dog f
I will definitely come back here. Food ordering was fast on a weekday and the food was made to order. Tables were clean and staff are friendly. Water cup looks good and water tasted good, can't complain :) Chicken and waffle is amazing and almost half the price as the popular one in downtown. Waffl
Oh man! I can honestly say the day we went. I did not expect the food to be this tasteful. Service was quick enough for what we ordered. Even the kids food was good. Good sized portions across the board. This place here could be the reason to get a membership to the museum of natural science.
I love this place. There are some fantastic restaurants downtown near the museum, but my son and I love that this place is right there in the building. The food is delicious. Every child's meal and adult meal we have ordered here has been very good. It is on the level of any of the restaurants aroun
Loved the various options including vegetarian choices. Outdoor seating was also available. Enjoyed the brie and bacon grilled sandwich 😋
The food was great, but a little pricey. That is to be expected at a museum cafe. I was pleasantly surprised at how healthy and full of flavor the generous portions were served on actual plates rather than the expected paper plates. On an eco note, almost everything else was compostable.
I was unexpectedly surprised at the quality and taste of food here. Brought kids and they have a good kids menu and large tasty salad and very good healthy wraps. Good option if you are in the museum and wish not to walk far
Staff was very nice and made sure we got our food in a timely manner and the food was pretty good!
The cheeseburger is as good as what you can get at J Alexander's, but it costs less. Fries were crispy and delicious. Tip the staff!
It is a museum restaurant so don't expect 5 star quality, but it's decent for the price.
Good, affordable price for high quality food. Come first Fridays of every month for a science presentation!
Nice little Cafe attached to the NC Museum of Natural History.
The chicken salad melt is so good 👌 When visiting the museum, I prefer to eat here over the bug cafe on the third floor.
