Absolutely love Azitra! My husband and I are both vegan and love that their vegetarian section has clearly marked vegan items on the menu and a decent selection of appetizers, entrees and desserts that fit our dietary needs. The food is delicious, well seasoned for any tastes (scale for spicy or not), with generous portions. They have an extensive global wine list and we always pick something different and are never disappointed. They also have very well crafted cocktails. We come here often and the staff recognize us and know that we are vegan, even detailing off menu items and edits we can make to some dishes to make them vegan. Love the outdoor seating area and generally upscale but comfortable setting.

Is 10 stars an option? I'm going to guess once I've had the most amazing Indian food (first time) I will never find anything else that lives up to my expectations. Saag goat chops, vindaloo lamb & Brussels. I can't remember which sauce, but I had paneer foe the protein. Had mogbhi manchurian as a appetizer. It was all fabulous. Wait staff was helpful & attentive.

Excellent overall experience Food: Salmon Tikka Masala. The salmon was cooked perfectly. Each component was fresh and full of flavors. The Naan bread absorbs the sauce. The scallops was juicy and tender garnished with sauce on the plate. The salad was just enough to inticised The rice was excellently prepared. Service: Impeccable. The serve was very versed in the menu and wine paring. The atmosphere was vibrant with clear vision that was executed.

If I could rate 10 stars I would. It is SO rare to find a restaurant nowadays with *impeccable* service, phenomenal atmosphere AND amazing food! Best Indian food I’ve ever had and service was truly 10 stars, refilled my water whenever it was low (which was often!) server made great recommendations and he was available but not over bearing. I cannot wait to go back! Thank you for the memories Azitra!

Last night I had the best lamb chops I’ve ever tasted. Not only did we have lamb chops but we also had the lamb shank. Oh my goodness.…I’ll tell you more about that shortly. The crazy part is that as much as I am in this area, I’ve never noticed this spot, although that may be because I don’t really do Indian food. But, let me tell you… you must give this Azitra’s a try. We sat at the bar and our bartender, Yancey, was friendly, funny, and most helpful with our beverage selections. Not only that, but we ended up getting food recommendations from this guy we would later find out was the Asst. Manager, Ashish. He was spot-on with everything he suggested and very descriptive of the offerings which was truly appreciated. Now about that lamb. The seasoning on the lamb… mmmhmmm. I definitely could have eaten more than we had and that’s why we ordered the shank, thanks to some guidance from Ashish. The sauce …. man, the sauce that the shank sat in … pure 👌🏾 perfection. Tearing off a piece of naan, filling it with the lamb, and dipping it in the sauce … my goodness. Listen to me, I was a little apprehensive about this place because I don’t do spicy foods, but my friend assured me all would be well. He was 100% correct. I’ll definitely go back.

Since we live an hour away, we hadn't been to Azitra in a good while and were so excited to finally be going back. Their menu had changed since the last time we were there and I noticed that my favorite dish, Boti Kabob Patia, was no longer on the list (Oh no!). I asked our waiter about it and he promptly went to speak with the chef. When he returned, he pointed out that the menu had been enhanced and the name of the dish had changed to Peppercorn Mango Lamb. I was so happy! I got the Samosa appetizer and my hubby chose the Chaat Of The Day which was a delightful cold salad with potato and chickpeas drizzled with two different glazes. It was "outta-this-world-good". The Vindaloo my hubby got made him smile from ear to ear and my Peppercorn Mango Lamb was delicious. The staff were attentive, but not too attentive, the food was devine and the atmosphere was peaceful. It was the best meal we've had in quite a while. Azitra never disappoints!

Great ambience and service. Food overall was good. The lamb soup wasn't great. The koyla chicken was below average. Made a comment on the mutton soup not being good and got a silence :) lamb chops was great and so was the crab masala. The evening in India as a drink was good too, a little too sweet. For the price, things need to be a little better to get value . I will give it another shot, ( I also had lunch the same day and tea and lunch was great)

We moved to this area about a year ago, and happened upon this restaurant. We are not terribly familiar with Indian food, so we ate at the bar and asked the bartender for recommendations. His recommendations were spot on and delicious. This has been the only Indian restaurant we go to now. We have bever been disappointed. Let Yance pick your next dinner. You will discover amazing tastes and spectacular craft cocktails!

It's an excellent upscale restaurant with small portions, yet delicious food accompanied by refreshing drinks. Don't miss out on the flavorful lamb pepper and gobi Manchurian dishes. While the beverages might be pricey, the 'Bombay Kiss' cocktail is a must-try.

I can't say enough about the food here! I had a lamb dish and a lentil dish with nan bread. Both were full of flavors and textures, and it really lit up my taste buds! Absolutely deliscious!! The staff are all friendly, the good comes out pretty quick, there's an outside dining area with best lamps and mood lighting. The house was full of mostly Indian people, which says a lot about the quality of their menu too!!

The ambience is nice. The food is decent but pricey given its an Indian fine dine. We enjoyed the lychee ginger mocktail. The anarkali kofta and Amritsari fish tikka was tasty. We also ordered the Azitra sampler, chat of the day(bhel), butter chicken, gulab jamun and dark chocolate cake which were OK!

Came back for my second visit during restaurant week and loved the experience. They have some of the best Indian food I have ever tasted and i have yet to try a dish of theirs that I didn't like. The wait staff were attentive, the ambiance is welcoming, the desert presentation was stunning and I love their cocktails. Definitely a go-to spot for enjoying the entire dining experience.

During my visit to Raleigh, NC, I stumbled upon this exceptional Indian restaurant conveniently located near the RDU airport. The environment, hosts, and food were all good. Ashish, the assistant manager, surprised my sister with a birthday cake. Thank you.
