Wow , this place is awesome. Had the spedie , one of the best sandwiches I e ever had , truly . The cheese was melted to perfection , the chicken was juicy and the bread with toasty . 10/10
Food was delicious. Three others in my party all got quiche and loved them. I got a chicken mozzarella sandwich (can't remember name) and it was yummy. This is my mom's favorite place to eat, and it's up there for me too.
Poppyseed is one of our go to’s, especially on a nice day! For lunch, it’s order at the counter but they bring it to your table when it’s ready. Dinner is full service. There’s ample indoor seating and maybe 15 outdoor tables (give or take). We love to go for lunch, grab a drinks and sit outside.

Have not had the chance to check out this gem in North Raleigh in a while. Personally, I love the concept of counter service for lunch and a fine dining experience at dinner. Had a great time at the bar before heading to an event at Quail Ridge Books. You have to check this place out. Excellent cust
Great locally owned spot in N Raleigh. 3 of us had lunch there today it could not have been better. Melt in your mouth meatball sub, their take on a club and a chicken salad on a croissant. All were superb, great service, on a beautiful day. Support this local GEM!!
We brought home a Southern Spiedie & a Poppyseed Reuben. Everything was delicious! The sandwiches, the chips & even the pickle were wonderful! This was our first visit, and will not be our last. Thanks!

Excellent food. Real carved Turkey Breast! Delicious ready-made salads (the Macaroni Salad is addictive). The BLT is the best in the business. Pizza is extremely good. Service is professional and courteous. A great choice for lunch or dinner.
Great lunch place with lots of options. The staff was delightful. It was our first visit and they gave us a complimentary pimento cheese tray. The veggie lover sandwich was great and the homemade chips were fabulous. The atmosphere was pleasant. We look forward to trying the dinner menu.
Unfortunately, we were those jerks that came in right as they were closing! Even still, we received excellent service. From the deli section, we picked butternut squash lasagna, Mac-n-cheese, chicken fingers & broccoli salad— with quiche and chicken salad for tomorrow.
