One of our favorite places to eat in Raleigh! The prefixed menu is always a great pick, but the rest of the menu doesn't disappoint. Spring/summer nights on the patio are our favorite. The wine list and the staff are both top notch!
Fantastic ambiance, awesome wine. We tried the "Abstract" Grenache, Syrah blend from California . Ohh wow! The appetisers were amazing the crab cake a must! The steak with peppercorn sauce was fabulous. The key lime pie was great. We highly recommend this restaurant. There's also a kids menu, but to be honest, our little one was hooked on the corn bread. Wow! Amazing service too. We'll definitely come again if in Raleigh.
Fabulous! Amazing! Awesome place! From start to finish was wonderful. We loved our server. The meal was fabulous but, the lemon blueberry cheesecake was a treasure. Thank you!
Had a lovely birthday celebration last evening. This was our first visit but will definitely not be our last! Our server, William, was excellent! He never rushed us but was always attentive. And the food was outstanding. We tried lots of seafood and it was all delicious!
This place never disappoints! The owner and staff go out of their way to make every experience a memorable one! One of my favorite places in Raleigh since they opened their doors!
Margaux is my favorite place to go! I love their lemon drop martini. It is divine. My favorite appetizer is the crab cakes. I always receive a warm greeting by Steven. Very professional staff.
North Raleigh's greatest dining experience for the last 24 years or so! Unique fusion menu, incredible presentation, impeccable service, remarkable decor and lighting, upbeat (yet comfortable) atmosphere. And, Steve, the owner, still manages to touch every table, every night.
We had such a great meal.. service was top notch as always.. we definitely were treated a little extra special for our anniversary .. thank you all so much
Excellent meal. Don't skip dessert. Attentive but not smothering service.
The way their staff ran Valentine’s Day was impressive. Food was great, fresh and fast. Our waitress Ann Marie was polite and attentive. Loved loved loved.
Never know what's going to be on the menu on a given night. (Can see on interweb) Doesn't matter. If you can even decide once you arrive, you'll be doing better than I.
Always can choose a great meal. Employees and Owners are top notch. Service always 5 stars.
Food awesome Service (Hunter) awesome Loved it Oysters on halfshell best Id had in a while Only regret was not having the 20yr tawny port witb my creme brulee Yummo!
Lovely restaurant! We came as a group. Although the restaurant was supposed to close in about 30 minutes to an hour they still gave excellent service. Multiple staff members came out to give us suggestions and help us make food selections. Our server, Mercy, was very knowledgeable, personable, and attentive.
Best Bartenders! Yummy sushi and delicious home baked Tucán bread and Southern corn bread the service is great and the staff treats you like a star
Delicious food with excellent service. My nephew and his girlfriend have eaten there several times and love the restaurant. My sister, niece and I had never eaten there. We were all there this evening to celebrate family birthdays. We will be back for sure!

One of my favorite restaurants in Raleigh! On the top of the food industry in Raleigh as long as old money
My girlfriend and I had the most amazing time at your restaurant recently, and
we were satisfied with the whole dining experience. I
had been hearing great things about your place and was really excited to finally try it out. Our meal was great. The flavors of the dishes we tried were just perfect, and the way everything was presented was even better than I expected. My friend said you picked a great place to dine. Not only did the food look fantastic, but it tasted incredible as well. Each bite was a burst of amazing flavors that just made me want to keep eating. The attention to detail in every aspect of the meal, from the
ingredients used to the way everything was prepared, which really made our dining experience stand out. I can't wait for my next visit to Margaux's. Thank you for treating my friend 💕
Loved dinner. Apps were fantastic. Both mains were a bit salty, but that just may be my personal taste. We also loved desert. Every staff member we interacted with was super friendly and seemed to enjoy being there.
Pretty good overall. I had the peppercorn crusted half duck with a mango orange ginger and thyme glaze. The duck was a little tough, maybe over cooked, but the flavor was good. The glaze was sweet but not overly sweet and paired well with the duck. The vegetable medley was a little bland, maybe as to not take away from the duck. The mashed sweet potatoes were delicious. Super creamy and the perfect balance of sweet and buttery. I had the steak, filet mignon, before and it was really good but over priced in my opinion. The atmosphere and service is top notch, though!
This is my second time eating here and it was just as wonderful as the first. They had delicious food; we got calves liver and agnolatti. Both were top notch.
I've lived in Raleigh 12 years and had not been to Margaux's. The service and food was outstanding. I went with my wife and 3 year old son. It was all around a great experience and will become a regular place for us. I had the tuna which was perfectly prepared. We also had fresh oysters which were top notch. All the food was extremely fresh with great presentation and perfect serving size. The service stood out - our server was fantastic and VERY quick to bring food and drinks. No wonder they've been in business for 33 years.
The food and service were good. I really liked the cornbread. My husband loved the key lime pie.
This was my first time at margauxs….. it will definitely not be my last. Sarah was super sweet and attentive my water was never empty my tummy is full and happy. She did a great job at explaining the menu and giving us recommendations. I got the French onion soup and a half portion chaser to start (I don’t know how big the full is but the half was huge too). The French onion soup is the best I have had in Raleigh. The chaser came with fresh cracked black pepper. The main winner of the night was the duck from their classic portion of the menu. It was to die for with amazing sweet potatoes. Lastly the desert… a must get great with the cappuccino!! I had the white and dark chocolate moose Sarah’s recommended favorite. It is not my favorite. They are celebrating 30 years of business and I can see why!!
So good. Margaux's is in my top five "places to go for an occasion" in Raleigh. Go on a Monday for the three course pre fixe menu. I recommend choosing the Caesar salad, Salmon, and chocolate mousse, but the other options are also delicious. Also, the best escargot I've ever had, and the Won-Chos were delicious. Definitely going back for the crab cakes and the ever changing menu items. If you have William as your waiter, you're in great hands.
Dined here on a business trip as was recommended by some local friends. The Filet was literally the best piece of meat I have ever eaten! The service was excellent as well. The bartender noticed me waiting in the entry for a table, since the bar was packed, and he went out of his way and came over and offered to bring a drink. It was a great experience!
Excellent restaurant with delicious food and charming service. Cozy atmosphere. The French Onion Soup is the best this side of the Atlantic. The Prix Fixe menu represents the best dining option in Raleigh. Fish, seafood, meat, salad: all are excellently prepared. Desserts are phenomenal. Dine here and be happy.
