My wife and two best friends took me here after graduation! One of the best places to eat in Raleigh! Good Cajun food as well as other types! The music is a tad loud at times but that’s okay. We tried each other’s food and ordered dessert to share! It was an incredible experience! Our waitress was
Ordered from the late night menu; Shrimp platter & BBQ wings. Drinks: Dragon Flower.
Absolutely loved stopping in here after a night of debauchery 😁. Was starving and was happy to see this was open til 2. Atmosphere was pretty chill, altho it definitely can get rowdy with the late night crowd; you'
we shared the fried green tomatoes, alligator bites, crawfish etouffee, and the seafood platter with catfish, shrimp, and fried oysters. nice portion sizes and a great drink menu as well. definitely felt like a taste of nola.
Shrimp and grits were amazing. Grits were creamy and cheesy and perfectly seasoned, shrimp was cooked perfectly and sausage was delicious, full of flavor and not too spicy. It came with cornbread that was GF and that was a big win for me. Husband got the seafood platter and said everything was fried
Had some small dishes and a few mixed drinks. Quite impressed by both and I am pretty picky about a good Old fashioned. Big place with alot of character.
The meals were exceptional. The atmosphere was filled with the laid-back spirit of the Big Easy. Thanks to the wonderful staff for a pleasant experience.
Spectacular service, atmosphere, food (blue cheese ravioli), beer (hazy ipa) and local bourbon (southern star - nice name as I am from the southern hemisphere, Australia with the southern cross) - on a Sunday on downtown raleigh when I thought everyone was closed!
I enjoyed this place! Nothing bad to say about it unless I nitpick. The waitress was very attentive besides the place being short staffed. Food was hot and drinks were cold. The atmosphere was very relaxed would recommend this for a date night or meet up with friends for drinks and good food. I'll d
So i ordered the south of the buffalo jerk wings as an appetizer but came with my entree, which was the pork chop with garlic green beans and red beans and rice.
I loved everything except the pork Chop, no flavor just charred.
First time here was for my 9 yr anniversary a few days ago and I'm still talking about it today, it was so good. Husband got the jambalaya and I got shrimp étoufée.
When you walk in there is stately artwork, a deep atmosphere, great food and drinks. This place has character and it was a good time fo
My friends and I decided to try The Big Easy for lunch today. The food was amazing! I got the turkey bacon melt with a side of mac & cheese with Granny Smith slices on the side. Oh my… was the mac & cheese very cheesy!! Loved it!! Ooo we tried the Beignets too…delicious indeed!! The atmosphere was
The Big Easy is a popular full Bar & restaurant on Fayetteville St that offers a very lively atmosphere featuring a live DJ on weekends, 2 levels of seating and New Orleans style Cajun menu. I visited and ordered from their late night menu after 11:30 p.m. Staff was friendly and kind. We were seate
I went here on a Saturday, late afternoon. It didn’t seem very busy, but the bartender came thru by getting me seated and being my server. I was seated more towards the rear so the lighting was pretty dim, but it was okay with me. I loved the atmosphere and vibe. It was calm and very nice artwork- k
Really enjoying the atmosphere here. Started with a whiskey sours for myself and a big easy Manhattan. The whiskey sours was 80% sours go 20 % whiskey. Order at your own peril. The Manhattan wasnt the best. We labeled it ok. No alternate notes. The Louisiana crab dip was exceptional. The wife ordere
It was my first time visiting and I really enjoyed the food and ambiance. The drinks were great and the menu wasn't over priced. My waiter could have had a little better customer service but the manager on duty made up for where she lacked. I will be back to visit again
