What a wonderful experience. My cocktail was delicious. Steak Tartare was tasty. The special short rib pasta dish was mouth watering as well as the Mushroom Tagliatelle. To top it off was the Sticky Toffee Pudding .....to delicious for words. The staff was outstanding. I highly recommend
This was my first stop after my plane landed, and it was the best place to eat for my first taste of Raleigh! The short rib and pot pie were awesome!! The hosts and waiters/tresses were fantastic, attentive and passionate about this place!!
I wish I was staying longer to enjoy this place again! I will be back on any future trips to NC!!
Eat here!!! And sit outside if the weather's nice! We had crab beignets, poached salmon with beer butter and pea putter, homemade pasta with pesto, and perfectly paired wine and a delicious unique bourbon cocktail. The Monday-Thursday bartender is fantastic and our server Bianca is wonderful. We had a beautiful dinner experience and cannot recommend this place enough!
This is my friends and I go to brunch spot. Indoor and outdoor seating, great service thatās always willing to accommodate our groups when we show up and their menu is diverse enough to satisfy all. Mimosas are just $3 and other drinks are reasonable too. Itās definitely a chef driven restaurant that wonāt leave you unsatisfied.
Great place to go for food and drinks. Highly recommend if you are looking for a new place to eat

Decided to make a day trip and find a spot to eat lunch in Raleigh. I heard great things about this place so I decided to try it out. Great food, great atmosphere and the cocktail I had was superb! My server was Jess and she was amazing! Very accommodating and easy to talk to. Great experience :)
Excellent food, drinks and atmosphere! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great dinner downtown!
Excellent food and service! A place to eat, laugh and enjoy a meal with family and friends. The patio is wonderful.
Sunday brunch today was outstanding! Huevos Rancheros was the bomb. Great vibe with new menu and layout...and the kids love it.
Best breakfast in downtown Raleigh! Great service and ambiance makes this a great place to meet friends or family!
Always a great meal and drinks. Love this place so much. One of the best restaurants in raleigh
Went for the first time last night for Restaurant Week. Weāll definitely return ļæ½Beginning with the craft cocktail to the apple crisp dessert was scrumptious. My husband said the duck was like velvet & my salmon was prepared perfectly. The experience was made even more enjoyable by the entire staff, friendly & extremely attentive. If you go ask for Alexās section, she was beyond pleasant & really knew her stuff ļæ½
The menu is creative and offers unique takes on traditional foods. The food is exceptionally good every time we eat here and the prices are very reasonable. Service is relaxed and friendly and the atmosphere is inviting. We wish we lived close enough to be able to eat here more often.
Great place- incredible food, good vibe, cozy atmosphere, beautiful cocktails, friendly service.
Excellent service and fantastic food, we were greeted by Steve who was so nice and welcoming! We will definitely be back, everyone must try the sticky toffee pudding, you won't be disappointed!
Sustenance and Ambiance, Perfect for a quiet date night or a small gathering with friends! Food always fresh and hot. The menu always has something to offer for everyone. If you can't quite decide, do not hesitate to ask. Wait staff will always be there to help. One of downtown Raleigh hidden gems!!
We enjoyed brunch today. This was our first time eating here. We made a RSVP and our table by a window was ready when we arrived. We enjoyed the Vanilla latte and cappuccino. Each item we ordered was flavorful and beautifully presented. We will definitely come back and recommend.
We came in without a reservation and was able to be seated at the bar with no hesitation or wait. Unbelievably amazing service -- everyone was incredibly attentive. Lots of vegetarian options -- not a lot of vegan options, but the vegan food we did order was INSANELY delicious. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend the sweet potato hash if you're vegan š¤¤š¤¤š¤¤
This location opened at 5:30pm on the Saturday we visited. There is paid parking on the street, but you only pay during Monday thru Friday.
We got there early, so we had drinks across the street at the Tin Roof, which is a fun bar with live music across the street. This a nice main course to that experience.
They were able to fit us in, but keep in mind that reservations are recommended. We chose to dine at the outdoor seating area next to the street. It was a great experience but expect to have cars and motorcycles rev their engines as they cruise along that main street.
We optioned to have the grilled chicken fettuccine alfredo, the grilled scallops, and vegetarian salad. And the waffle with ice cream for dessert. The waiter was knowledgeable about the food, and if you ask about the quality or size or availability, they are able to handle those questions.
Midas 5-stars for the professional and knowledgeable staff.
During the Downtown Restaurant Week in Raleigh, there were great variety of different types of food at the restaurant. The customer service was great. Nice spot for date night or time with your friends.
Place was an unexpected surprise and we are very happy that we chose to go to that restaurant tonight. Service was immaculate. The food was delicious. I can't wait to go again.
Plates is simply outstanding. This farm-to-table, chef-run spot is unpretentious and has a real seasonal menu. The charcuterie board, seared monkfish, fresh basil fettuccine and panna cotta were all to die for. Great cocktails and excellent wine pairings. The bartenders also were awesome. This has to be one of Raleighās best kept secrets.
The food in one word would have to be described as *FRESH*. My husbandās Old Fashioned was incredibly smooth; almost too easy to drink.
The homemade fettuccine + shrimp was also outstanding. We sat on the patio & the staff was very accommodating when it started to sprinkleāļø. Natalie our server was so attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and genuine. She made it one of the best experiences Iāve had with customer service in a long time. I also greatly enjoyed the patio seating atmosphere.
Had a wonderful late-night dinner here. The entire staff was super friendly and kind, especially our server Natalie who was amazing.
Itās a fantastic spot for a date night or to enjoy with family/friends. Will definitely be coming back to try out the brunch!
Iāve been here three times and had great food with great service every time . Their take on shrimp and grits might be the best Iāve had. Elevated from its humble origins to create more complex flavors without being busy. On my second visit I had the breakfast burrito. And Iām not going to say they elevated the breakfast burrito :) I will say it was a collection of simple ingredients that were cooked near perfection. Fluffy eggs with a bit of chorizo and veg on a thin flour tortilla that was so fresh I had to ask if they made it in house (they donāt). Most recently I came in for dinner. I had the catfish and my wife had the chicken pot pie. The catfish was superb. Cooked perfectly served beautifully on a bed of veg and broth all seasoned on the light side of perfect. The pot pie filling was delicious. I prefer a standard pie crust over a puff pastry topper but it was still a good dish. And the sticky toffee pudding is the comeback dish, mmmmmmm.
Braised short rib was excellent, extremely tender and the red wine beef jus was perfect with it. The server was happy to give a beer recommendation based off the chosen entree, which was extremely hospitable. Would highly recommend and will be making sure to come back.
