This was my first stop after my plane landed, and it was the best place to eat for my first taste of Raleigh! The short rib and pot pie were awesome!! The hosts and waiters/tresses were fantastic, attentive and passionate about this place!! I wish I was staying longer to enjoy this place again! I will be back on any future trips to NC!!

Eat here!!! And sit outside if the weather's nice! We had crab beignets, poached salmon with beer butter and pea putter, homemade pasta with pesto, and perfectly paired wine and a delicious unique bourbon cocktail. The Monday-Thursday bartender is fantastic and our server Bianca is wonderful. We had a beautiful dinner experience and cannot recommend this place enough!

This is my friends and I go to brunch spot. Indoor and outdoor seating, great service thatā€™s always willing to accommodate our groups when we show up and their menu is diverse enough to satisfy all. Mimosas are just $3 and other drinks are reasonable too. Itā€™s definitely a chef driven restaurant that wonā€™t leave you unsatisfied.

Went for the first time last night for Restaurant Week. Weā€™ll definitely return ļæ½Beginning with the craft cocktail to the apple crisp dessert was scrumptious. My husband said the duck was like velvet & my salmon was prepared perfectly. The experience was made even more enjoyable by the entire staff, friendly & extremely attentive. If you go ask for Alexā€™s section, she was beyond pleasant & really knew her stuff ļæ½

The menu is creative and offers unique takes on traditional foods. The food is exceptionally good every time we eat here and the prices are very reasonable. Service is relaxed and friendly and the atmosphere is inviting. We wish we lived close enough to be able to eat here more often.

We enjoyed brunch today. This was our first time eating here. We made a RSVP and our table by a window was ready when we arrived. We enjoyed the Vanilla latte and cappuccino. Each item we ordered was flavorful and beautifully presented. We will definitely come back and recommend.

We came in without a reservation and was able to be seated at the bar with no hesitation or wait. Unbelievably amazing service -- everyone was incredibly attentive. Lots of vegetarian options -- not a lot of vegan options, but the vegan food we did order was INSANELY delicious. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend the sweet potato hash if you're vegan šŸ¤¤šŸ¤¤šŸ¤¤

This location opened at 5:30pm on the Saturday we visited. There is paid parking on the street, but you only pay during Monday thru Friday. We got there early, so we had drinks across the street at the Tin Roof, which is a fun bar with live music across the street. This a nice main course to that experience. They were able to fit us in, but keep in mind that reservations are recommended. We chose to dine at the outdoor seating area next to the street. It was a great experience but expect to have cars and motorcycles rev their engines as they cruise along that main street. We optioned to have the grilled chicken fettuccine alfredo, the grilled scallops, and vegetarian salad. And the waffle with ice cream for dessert. The waiter was knowledgeable about the food, and if you ask about the quality or size or availability, they are able to handle those questions. Midas 5-stars for the professional and knowledgeable staff.

Plates is simply outstanding. This farm-to-table, chef-run spot is unpretentious and has a real seasonal menu. The charcuterie board, seared monkfish, fresh basil fettuccine and panna cotta were all to die for. Great cocktails and excellent wine pairings. The bartenders also were awesome. This has to be one of Raleighā€™s best kept secrets.

The food in one word would have to be described as *FRESH*. My husbandā€™s Old Fashioned was incredibly smooth; almost too easy to drink. The homemade fettuccine + shrimp was also outstanding. We sat on the patio & the staff was very accommodating when it started to sprinkleā˜”ļø. Natalie our server was so attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and genuine. She made it one of the best experiences Iā€™ve had with customer service in a long time. I also greatly enjoyed the patio seating atmosphere.

Iā€™ve been here three times and had great food with great service every time . Their take on shrimp and grits might be the best Iā€™ve had. Elevated from its humble origins to create more complex flavors without being busy. On my second visit I had the breakfast burrito. And Iā€™m not going to say they elevated the breakfast burrito :) I will say it was a collection of simple ingredients that were cooked near perfection. Fluffy eggs with a bit of chorizo and veg on a thin flour tortilla that was so fresh I had to ask if they made it in house (they donā€™t). Most recently I came in for dinner. I had the catfish and my wife had the chicken pot pie. The catfish was superb. Cooked perfectly served beautifully on a bed of veg and broth all seasoned on the light side of perfect. The pot pie filling was delicious. I prefer a standard pie crust over a puff pastry topper but it was still a good dish. And the sticky toffee pudding is the comeback dish, mmmmmmm.

Braised short rib was excellent, extremely tender and the red wine beef jus was perfect with it. The server was happy to give a beer recommendation based off the chosen entree, which was extremely hospitable. Would highly recommend and will be making sure to come back.
