Hibernian Irish Pub & Restaurant - Raleigh - Photo album

We were looking for a spot downtown to eat before our concert and found this place. The building itself is awesome. We were able to seat ourselves so we picked the outdoor area upstairs overlooking Glenwood Ave. Our table had beautiful skyline views of downtown. We were greeted by our awesome server
This is the BEST Irish food we have ever had stateside. Bangers and mash was incredible, as was the Guinness chocolate mousse. The portions were great and the price was right. They have good drinks and daily specials that make it even better. Our server Katrina was so prompt and friendly, and even g
Good haddock fish fry. One of the best in Raleigh! Great place to go on Glenwood South if you're trying to get away from the younger/college night life scene and just chill for a bit in a quieter place. Live music sometimes, a bonus!
We had an unexpected free evening and went to the Hibernian for dinner. The upstairs patio (not sure if there is elevator access) was a lot of fun, though the music is loud. The Monday burger special is an incredible value and quite delicious. The fish and chips was as hoped for, a light beer batt
Nice Irish Pub with great service and good food. The upstairs balcony has a great view of Glenwood while you’re eating and drinking. They have a great selection of Irish whiskey, plenty of beers on tap, a good Rueben, and a giant serving of fish and chips. Pro-tip: If you don’t eat like a starved lu
We sat in a booth beside the bar. Very nice atmosphere, server was friendly. We enjoyed our meals (fish-cod & chips, bangers & mash). The fish was awesome! I agree with another post saying slaw was meh, but I'll still order again. Hubby enjoyed the bangers (sausages) abd said the mashed potatoes wer
The menu items are adequate and reasonable. Your meal portions are worth the money. Atmosphere was astronomical. Outside seating options to view downtown Raleigh NC bar district strip, with television views of other sports bars in the area. Casual dining atmosphere. Food was perfection and beyond
We love coming to Hibernian on Burger Mondays. It is legit the best deal in triangle. Two patty burger with Fries for 6 bucks is hard to beat. They’ve got solid ranch, make you pay 50 cents for it though which is kind of a bummer. They also have solid Wings, some of the best for the price in Raleig
It's hard to miss an Irish pub with an open deck. My friend and I came here after work and was greeted by kind and fast service. I got a Black and Blue (Blue Moon and Guinness) with the Bangerz + Mash. The beer was great. The food was delicious with gravy on top of garlic potatoes and then at least
My mom and I's experience here was amazing! We came in pretty late and we were needing to take out food because the waiters needed to go home but one woman was kind enough to take care of us anyway. She definitely didn't have to, it was very sweet! She was amazing and the food was just incredible. I
This is a very nice place. The location is great and the balcony area is very enjoyable. Unfortunately, the beer we had was not cold, which was a bummer, and the fish in the sandwich I ordered was a bit too oily and doughy. The dish looked great and it was huge! However, it was overwhelming to my ta
Enjoyed our time here overall, very typical Irish pub vibe which was exactly what we were after. They put the Rugby world cup on for us which was nice but other than that service was super slow and they even forgot my food that I ordered. Ended up finishing our drinks (which were a good price) with
Good Irish pub. Beer specials on Tuesday night. Fun group setting. A nice pub. Cold beer, traditional Irish pub food and solid standbys like fish and chips. The dip sampler was excellent! We got a table near the front windows and it was great for people watching. There are picnic tables outsid
Stopped by with a few friends for some food and a drink or two. We sat on the first floor by the bar being serviced by Allie. She was great she had a packed bar, full tables, and a lot going on. Even with all that she was attentive, helpful, and all around great. She really made our night!!
Place has good music, the interiors are pretty fun, good service and the so are the drinks. I liked the wings here, it is a typical Irish pub and is upto the mark!
Had dinner and drinks here, the food was delicious, the staff was friendly and constantly checked on us, and the service was quick. A great overall experience!
I happened onto this pub my chance. Great service and atmosphere. I had the Reuben sandwich. Quite tasty. Made a bit differently from what I'm used to but tasty nonetheless. The firecracker shrimp was good, just not spicy. The mousse is super rich and chocolatey.
