Found this place while looking for lunch after the Christmas parade, and it was one of the only places open. What a find! Big selection of food including sushi, traditional dishes (General Tso’s, teriyaki chicken) and the curry which I got. Great selection of on draft beer, wine, and sake. Awesome music play list of classic and 80’s rock. Best of all great service. Eating very spicy curry I went through a lot of glasses of water...and every time I was down to about a quarter glass the server was there refilling it. Definitely will come back!

I cannot say how grateful I was to find this place. I made reservations at Sushi Blues on this past Monday for a party of 10, Saturday night at 7pm. Only to be turned away as they tell me there was no such reservation. Highly disappointed, my party and I came across Sushi O. I called and asked if they could accommodate a party of 10 in such a late notice and the girl said it wouldn't be a problem. Sure enough we get there and the customer service was amazing and the food was even better! My friends and I had a great time! I will be coming back and will definitely recommend this place to other friends! 🍽

Staff was warm warm and welcoming. Restaurant had a nice ambiance and is esthetically pleasing. Sushi was high quality and had different options than other sushi places. Prices a little higher, however, Bogo was a nice surprise. My favorite part of my experience here was the fact they use real chopsticks.

This is a good go to sushi spot in Glenwood south area. I like them better than sushi blues because they at least let you split the checks!

Sushi O is a great little sushi restaurant on Glenwood Ave in Raleigh downtown. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, and the service is friendly and attentive. We ordered the veg sushi which was fresh and delicious. The drinks were decent too. We also got the drunken noodles and just a heads up that their lunch and dinner prices are different for the same dishes. The prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great sushi experience. It can get crowded on weekends, they have a nice outdoor space as well, but they don't take reservations.

I've been to many sushi restaurants in the triangle area, but this one is number one. The server and hostess were both extremely attentive. The server had a great sense of humor and I could tell she enjoyed serving my wife and I. We both ordered a Tom Yum that was the perfect level of spicy to prepare our taste buds for our sushi. I had a Mary Roll and my wife had a Firecracker roll. Both were prepared expertly by Suki. The Monday special of $3 draft beers made the drink choice easy and inspired me to try the Kyoto Rise. A refreshing mix of Malibu Rum, pineapple juice, grenadine, and sprite prepared by Marielle. This is not a restaurant to sleep on when visiting Raleigh! Make sure you get your chance to enjoy this wonderful restaurant just like we did!!

Place was really nice and service was good. They didn’t have a any sushi specials and calamari didn’t have a lot of flavor. But overall it was a good spot to take someone on a date.

Great place‼️. Went there for my birthday dinner. First time dining there. We had sashimi, and sushi, and bacon-fried rice, also tempura vegetables, and more. Our waitress was excellent, and I definitely will return again‼️

While the service was a little slower than I'd like, the sushi was fantastic! I got the surf and turf roll and also mackerel sashimi... the later of which I got extra of to take home later 😋 This is by far one of my favorite sushi places and I can't wait to come back!

This place is small and very cute. Love the decor. It's downtown so parking is a Hassel. You'll definitely have to walk from the parking lot. But the sushi is phenomenal. The hibachi really didn't tickle my fancy. Chicken was very hard and dry. The broccoli could have been cooked longer it was crunchy salad broccoli. The apple sake was too die for. I love the way they serve it in the bottle. Very clean place as well

Locals flock to this East-meets-West restaurant on Glenwood Ave in downtown Raleigh for 2 specific reasons. The food is excellent and the selection in the menu is varied. It offers an outside seating as inside dining area is usually full to health code capacity. Service is very fast and the staff is motivated. Highly recommended. A must-eat place when in Raleigh.

Not many gluten free options and our waitress was very unsure about gluten free. The drinks were tasty and the sushi was good. They had a special on sushi rolls which was good. I feel the restaurant should educate the staff more on gluten free and have a small menu. Nice atmosphere for the area.

Great sushi and atmosphere is ok for outdoors. That old saying "It's not the heat it's the humidity!" Really rings true in Raliegh. Also the Dragon roll was not a favorite, baked sushi on a hot day wasn't a winning choice. I removed 1 star for wait time and beer selection being restocked.

Good service and mild flavors. This was the first time I tried Vietnamese food, I have to admit I was a bit afraid of the taste or texture, to my surprise it was nothing exotic, dish was well served, looked nice and taste was great. Balanced favors. When it comes to favors I'm very skeptic about Asian food because sometimes it is tart or salty and texture might be gooey or mushy, none of that is found here. I loved the balance within all ingredients making it a bit exotic and different, but also mild.
