The food is amazing. It's wonderfully prepared with fresh ingredients and the presentation is very nice. Wine selection is outstanding as are the incentive cocktails. The decor is friendly and relaxed but a bit upscale enough to feel like you're some place special. The service was five star. Will definitely return soon!

We ate at Farina last night for the first time in a while. We had a great dinner that started with the roasted red peppers stuffed with goat cheese and garnished with pine nuts, golden raisins and a drizzle of balsamic. This made my night. It was delicious and I wanted more! I ordered the Carbonara and my husband had the braised short ribs with gnocchi- both dishes were great. The atmosphere is inviting and family-friendly and our server was attentive and engaging. Kudos Nunzio!

Farina has a good thing going. The food was excellent, wife and I did a couple apps and entrees a piece, pics attached. They also have a great wine pairing and overall beverage selection. Our waitress was great, attentive and chill, but not in a way where she forgot about our table. Will definitely be coming back in the future! 🍝

My experience at Farina Neighborhood Italian restaurant was fantastic. The delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and excellent service made it a place to visit again. The menu at Farina was extensive, offering a wide range of traditional Italian dishes. They had everything from classic pasta dishes like spaghetti carbonara and lasagna to delicious wood-fired pizzas with various toppings. It was difficult to choose just one dish, but I ultimately decided to Pesto Primavera. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine in Raleigh,NC. I have to bring my family here. ❣️

This was our first time to Lafayette Village and it is adorable!! We went on a Friday night and Farina was the busiest place there by far. We got there at 530 and was seated right away but by the time we left around 7 it was fully packed. The calamari is excellent and we enjoyed the meat/cheese board. The margarita pizza was so good, the dough was so soft - my kids never eat crust but ate this. It was a bit floppy but the flavors and sweet sauce made up for it. The chicken parm was very good. My only complaint is my kids got the kids meal spaghetti and it was $10 and it was just pasta & butter and didn’t come with anything else. Seemed a bit steep. (They still devoured it and wanted more though). The service was very good even when they were at their busiest. We enjoyed our meal very much.

What a great place - both times! We stumbled upon Farina two years ago and loved the food and service and vowed to come back. Well, we were new to the area and forgot the name/could never find this place again. However, we happily found it, now two years later, and are so happy we did! After our failed attempt to go to Enrigo's for a friend's birthday (go check out my review for Enrigo for that story), we were encouraged to enjoy a great Italian meal and we are so happy we were able to do that at Farina. With no reservation at 7pm on a Saturday, they were able to seat our party of two immediately. Our server was Brooke who was extremely nice, knowledgeable about the menu, and provided very prompt and stellar service. Making recommendations and asking for refills or if we needed anything before we even thought about it was fantastic. The meals here are always delicious. The calamari is quite delicious and the peppers add a delightful fresh, salty-spicey kick to the calamari. The aioli is also quite tasty. For meals, we had the Pesto Primavera with chicken and the Farina (Meat) Pizza. The pasta had a delicious pesto sauce and paired with a healthy portion of pasta and chicken. The pizza was also delicious - thin crust, not too much sauce, and well seasoned toppings. The sausage was delicious and the peppers on the pizza added depth. Did you know they make their own in-house made butter? It was delicious and took the ever normal table bread to a different level. We actually asked for more bread and butter because it was so tasty! The cocktails were also delicious - strong and not too sweet. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience from the kind host, prompt service, and delicious food. We will definitely be back for our next dose of Italian cuisine!

Such a gem of a place. My daughter and I wanted a nice Italian meal. We both enjoyed our dishes. I ordered the bolognese and she had the roasted lobster spaghetti. Both were delicious and came out relatively quickly. Atmosphere was very calm and quaint. Appreciated the experience!

Went on a Saturday evening and only had to wait about 10 minutes, which is no problem considering you're in the village. We ordered some drinks which were all tasty after being outside in the heat. I ordered the Balsamic Roasted Mushrooms topped with chicken breast. It was absolutely delicious. I would recommend it to any mushroom lover. My family also ordered Chicken Parm and the Bolognese. I was lucky to try both dishes before they were eaten up, and they were equally fresh, savory Italian dishes. Don't let the location fool you they do quality Italian, I can't wait to try the Pizza.

Come here every Friday with the team. Food is great and servers are always nice. If you complain they take too long… good food takes longer to prep and cook. Drinks are soooo gooood don’t ever change that.

It is quite apparent that this restaurant has quite a following. Unfortunately, if you want to make reservations, there are some odd stipulations which I found makes planning ahead to dine here much less appealing. One thing you can count on is great customer service, the front of the house, however, seems to be slightly behind in that area. The wine menu won't disappoint, and neither will the GRILLED CIABATTA BRUSCHETTA, the drizzle of balsamic vinaigrette really makes it standout above the rest. The BRAISED SHORT RIBS is an entree I would highly recommend, well prepared short ribs blend perfectly with the Gnocchi, although I am quite sure this Gnocchi smothered in the creamy Gorgonzola sauce would be great on its own. Great food and great company, and a ridiculous reservation policy, definitely worth a try. Cheers!

If you’ve got 6 or more people, call for reservations on weekends! We were told the wait was 25 minutes to sit outside on a Friday night, but it ended up being over an hour— so be prepared for that on nice warm evenings. The food is very good, and our waitress Brandi was excellent! My friends favorite is the gnocchi & tiramisu. My partner’s favorite was the cheesecake, he says it was light and fluffy. They do have gluten-free pasta, but no GF pizza crust.

If you are looking for a great variety of Italian eats, look no further than Farina Neighborhood Italian. I genuinely enjoyed the goat cheese-stuffed ravioli of the day and I tasted my friends roasted chicken pasta which is very good as well. We split a Wood-Fired pepperoni pizza and I really enjoyed the crispy crust and the overall flavor of the pie. They have a well-stocked bar and a great variety of specialty drinks that they make as well. Great place for a date night or anytime.

Stopped in here on a Friday afternoon for lunch. Was seated promptly and a server was at the table in less than 2 minutes. I ordered a lager draft and some side chips/ Beer was out right away and the chips weren't far behind. Kate was my server. Extremely friendly and helpful. Knowledgeable about the restaurant and the food. I ordered the Carbonara Pasta and it was excellent. I would order this ANY time. Kate made this lunch an excellent experience. Service is quick and friendly. Food is fast, hot and tastes fresh. I would recommend you stop in if you are in the area.

Loved it! The atmosphere is cozy yet lively! The food is delicious and the service phenomenal. My salmon was perfectly prepared. The fried mozzarella is the best I've ever tasted. The marinara sauce tasted like it was made by my Sicilian Grandma.

Went here for the first time. More of an upscale dinning experience. Great for celebrations or dates. We were disappointed in the hostess, and could have prevented us from even eating here. Took down our number to text when our table was ready, but she missed a number and wasn't able to contact us. Luckily, we came back around the time she said the wait would be. Waiting staff was friendly and prompt, however no one was following COVID mandates. We had a starter of calamari. It was very underwhelming and lacking any seasoning. However, our entrees we're delicious. The seasonal ravioli was a mushroom and spinach with a three cheese topping. The mushrooms were cooked well. The pasta itself was slightly overcooked. However, it was very well seasoned and the flavor was on point. If you don't enjoy cheese this dish is not for you. The Baked sausage rigatoni had lots of flavor as well. The sausage was well seasoned. The pasta was slightly overcooked as well. Another dish not for the non cheese lovers. The kids pepperoni pizza was baked well with the right amount of cheese and pepperoni. My son ate 3/4 of it. For dessert we had a scoop of vanilla ice cream and creme brulee. The creme brulee was creamy and not overly sweet with a wonderful crisp sugar top. Will probably be returning, just more for a celebration and not a casual dinner out.

The food was absolutely delicious! We had the creamed spinach dip, the roasted garlic lobster spaghetti, and the ricotta cheesecake. You can order the pastas as singles or platters (serves 2). The portions are very generous.
