Still in soft opening phase. We had queso & guacamole appetizers with carnitas tacos & tortas. Chocolate flan, too. Prisoner on wine list by the glass is amazing! Friendly staff, competent staff, excellent food. Highly recommend this place. Outside seating plentiful.
Some friends and I tried this place for the first time last night, and it was a terrific experience all the way around. From the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly by the manager and hostess. Our server was attentive and super friendly. The watermelon margarita was great and not too sweet. I'm vegetarian and gluten free; and there were PLENTY of options for me! Food was delicious too! Highly recommend.
Me and my boyfriend went here last night for the first time. Not only was the atmosphere amazing but the service was out of this world. The owner ran our food for us and personally made sure we were enjoying our experience. We each had a speciality margarita, both were truly delicious. The food was also incredible! We would highly recommend this place to our closest friends and family!
I nearly cried after tasting the "Burrito Momia" the first time and since then, it has been a personal favorite of mine. The drinks are amazing, the atmosphere is on point, the staff are outstanding, and the owner is a good friend of a friend so every time I have been here as been amazing!!! Sometimes the place turns into a dance area and its so much fun! I love it here!

Me and my friends stopped by after work to grab a quick meal, but man everything was so great. From the drinks and the food and the atmosphere that we ended up having a nice long evening just enjoying the ambiance. Also a special thank you to the owner for making it possible for us all to enjoy such delicious food made by wonderful people. Yummy! I'll be back.
La Santa is one of my family’s favorite restaurants in Raleigh! Anna is the absolute best! We have her as our server almost every time we visit and she is always wonderful. We highly recommend the Enchiladas con Mole and Pastor Vegano tacos. We’ll be back again soon!
Really nice place with a great menu in the happening Glenwood South area. Amazing presentations but surprisingly bland taste. The salsa flavor is just tomato. No lime, jalepeno or cilantro flavor around. Same with the chicken. Clearly boiled, but with no flavor. Fantastic creations, just needs a little punch.
Hubby brought me here for my birthday, I really loved this place, food and music was great.
We were like 15 people and they still gave us excellent service.

I came in for lunch by myself. They immediately gave me a giant bowl of complimentary chips and salsa, nothing fancy but good. I noticed they have an impressive collection of tequila, lots of margaritas, and tequila cocktails on the menu. It was a Tuesday lunch so I stuck with an ice tea. I ordered the chicken enchiladas from the lunch menu. The enchilada sauce was good, a little more vinegar forward than what I’m used to but very good and with large chunks of breast meat chicken cooked almost but not quite to the point it was falling apart so the chicken had a bit of texture. The rice and beans on the side were delicious. Some salsa, rice, beans, and chips mmmm ime gusta!
Bottom line, service was great, food was very good, the restaurant has great vibes and that lunch menu is a bargain. I recommend La Santa and will be back again soon to try more of the menu.
We came in late knowing we needed to order quickly. They don't fuss around about getting out of there, thats for sure. However, the food was great all around! 10/10 would recommend 👌🏻
The atmosphere was relaxed and allowed for easy conversation. The bar still suggested a lively feel with the sports game playing above. The food was great. It was my first time having a torta ahogada and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Excellent customer service. We were sat in a table in the corner, but our waitress came and checked on us many times. She helped us make drink and food decisions. I got the Las Verdes and my partner got the Barbacoa tacos. The portion size was decent and everything taste very fresh. Plus, the food came out within 15 minutes of us placing the order. We came in on a Sunday night during the dinner hour, and our waitress was more than attentive. We plan on coming back soon!
Good tacos, service and atmosphere. They play music pretty loud, which normally I dislike. But they were playing great Latin bangers (good songs), so I enjoyed it 😋
Such a fun time out with my sister. We sat at the bar and marveled at the drink-making and creative combinations of ingredients. Shrimp tacos are amazing. Get the passion fruit tequila drink. Yummm

TLDR: Definitely recommend trying this place but don't order the fondido. The chicken fajitas, Jalisco Mule and La Jefe are delcious!
My visit to this place was a bit of a rollercoaster. The service was rough. The waiter didn't speak or understand English very well, so it was difficult to get clarity on menu item questions. This led to us ordering quest fondido thinking we were going to get a hot plate of melted cheese, but ending up with a bowl of queso sauce. We said we didn't want chips, but would take the salsa. We ended up with chips and no salsa. Our first round of drinks were so so. But then our meals came, chicken faitajas and they were amazing! Our second round of drinks were fantastic. So by the end, we were satisfied and happy with out meal. Not a 10/10 but def worth a visit!
We've been meaning to check this place out and finally made it there. The atmosphere is awesome! We love the decor and the artwork all over the restaurant.
The service and food was fantastic. I LOVED their house margarita and the prices were good.
The only issue we ran across was the exorbitantly loud music playing. We didn't have an issue with the music itself, just the volume. It made it really difficult to hold a conversation, which we didn't like. It felt like being in a dance club, which is not the vibe I want when I go out to eat.
I recently visited La Santa modern Mexican food and have mixed feelings about my experience. The atmosphere and cocktails were definitely a highlight of the evening, and I appreciated the modern twist on classic Mexican dishes.
However, for a vegetarian, I was disappointed to find that there were not many options for me to choose from. Additionally, our server did not seem to know much about the menu and even gave me the wrong price for a dish that was listed as "market price" on the menu. This was unexpected and left me feeling a bit frustrated.
Overall, I would recommend La Santa as a one-time try out spot for those looking for a trendy dining experience and great cocktails. However, for those with dietary restrictions or looking for knowledgeable servers, it may not be the best fit. Three and a half stars
We sat outside and enjoyed checkin out the people, cars and everything going on. Margaritas were cold, tasty and had a kick. Food was fresh and tasty. Service was spot on, quick and friendly.
Absolutely incredible cocktails and good. Can’t recommend this place enough for high quality mexican food. The atmosphere is great for a date night, beautiful lighting and lively vibe. Highly recommend the queso fundido and the ribeye tacos! It took a while for the server to check on us and bring the check, but she had a big party and it was super busy for Taco Tuesday. Overall, great experience!

Highly recommended place, worth the wait time! Loved the Food, drinks, vibe totally. The service was friendly, helpful and gave good suggestions. The house salsa is indeed good, I had the fajitas and shrimp taco. Absolutely amazing flavors. The vibe is so lively, I wouldn’t mind going there again.
