THE BEST Thai food anywhere in the Triangle! The owners are from Bangkok and have many years of cooking experience. The Curry dishes are to die for - you have a choice of Levels 1, 2 or 3 for spicy/hot. I love hot, but never go beyond a 1 1/2!! lol The tastiest version of Tom Ka soup ever.....addicting! The staff is very accommodating with special orders/preferences. Family-friendly.....do yourself a huge favor and try out Bangkok Thai. I guarantee you will NOT be disappointed!

We just dined there tonight on the recommendation of a friend and so glad we did! It is the first time in years that we have walked out of a restaurant without buyer's remorse. We tend to be very picky because we are chefs at home lol. We are so excited to have a Thai place so close to Wake Forest that is legit and can't wait to go back and try new things! The other great thing about this place is we can actually afford to return often, it just might be our new "place." Try it, you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely delicious food. Friendly staff that was attentive and pleasant. Would recommend 10 out of 10 times. I could honestly eat their pineapple fried rice for every meal for the rest of my life, let's be honest. And they have so many options! I just wish they could deliver.

Who knew? From the outside you might second guess your decision to eat here (shopping center strip), but once you enter the door you will be pleasantly surprised - really nice atmosphere. We stopped in for a date (late afternoon) because of a coupon in the big coupon book. The food was amazing and the staff is super nice. We will definitely eat here again. We were the only ones eating, but you should have a full restaurant - need to get the word out :)

Fantastic service and excellent Thai cuisine. One of the best, if not the best in Raleigh. Love the small, warm environment. Very NYC. Had Drunken Noodles and it was terrific. Very fresh.

One of better Thai options in Raleigh. Very fresh ingredients and good tasting. Not made as spicy as at Lemongrass, so be sure to order it spicy if you like it that way.

Gluten free preparation is available.

I ate a soup that was so soothing and light with a ginger taste named Tom Ka Gai, noodles were excellent with a peanut taste and a little spicy and you get a drink. All this for 9 dlls. The girls ordered a sweet & sour chicken and rice only $5.00. Taste like an expensive restaurant without the cost.

Must try!. Bangkok Thai is very close to my house and I was curious about the quality of many mini restaurants located in strip malls. This one was a WINNER! Lunch was very delicious, great portion and it was UNDER $10.00! I got a drink, an appetizer and a main course. You have to go try it! Highly recommended...

Great Place. We went here last night for our first of many to come visits!! I had the ramen kee mao and my fiance had the basil duck; both were fantastic! The food was fresh and the vegetables were still crunchy which I really appreciate. Aside from the food, I loved the atmosphere, it was tasteful and not over the top, also very quiet. The service was great as well. We will be visiting here quite often.

Dinner at Bankok Thai. This is my third visit... of many to come. I loved the Tom Yum Goon, and the beef Musseman. The service was superior. This is a great place for an uplifting dinner; and I think I'm going to try the carry out too.

I recently told my son and daughter-in law about it. They came with their 15 year old son ( I had brought him for lunch before). They loved it too.

Bangkok Thai is a fantastic small restaurant. The owner is very kind and friendly and the waitstaff are always willing to accommodate you. They have fantastic lunch specials (around 8-9 dollars) but everything on the menu is great. Everything tastes very fresh and clean. If you like duck, I highly recommend the duck basil but their curries are all good as well. Please support this small business.

Great spot. Small but feels good. Food was fresh, and had great flavor. You can go casual or dress it up a bit with a late night visit. High on quality.

Bangkok Thai's taste was great. I went for diner with a friend. I had masaman chicken and my friend had thai fried rice. We shared a crispy vegetable rolls as appetizer and some of each other's food just to taste. The taste was great.
I also tried the thai tea. It was quite interesting with orange color. It was my first time and the waiter came to explain to me that we need to stir it before drinking, that was funny.
The restaurant had a soft atmosphere with what I think is some light thai songs at the back.
Nice for a quite relaxing evening.

Was in the area, and was looking for a quick lunch.. Thai never disappoints, and luckily found this place... Great food, super efficient and fast service... We tried the Gyoza Dumplings, Crab Wontons for starters... Both were good but the Wontons were absolutely melt in your mouth stuff... A visit to a Thai restaurant is incomplete without a Thai Curry, and we tried the Yellow Curry with Shrimp and Chicken, and the traditional Thai fried rice... Everything was spot on... Highly recommended!

Small place with big flavor. I had panangcurry for the first time, and it was so rich and creamy. Strong peanut flavor. The chicken was nice and tender, and the veggies were cooked perfectly. Plenty of curry sauce and rice to soak it all up. Fast and friendly service too!

I'm sorry, I was too busy stuffing my mouth with this amazing food to take any good pictures. Left overs day 2 pictured. Yellow Curry with beef! This is like adventure time for your mouth, a ferris wheel of flavor... I have not eaten one thing and disliked, discarded, thrown out or been grieved about. Amazing food. The sweet potato thing? It's sweet potato fries, fried, with plum sauce. Now don't get me wrong, it was utterly yummy, things terrible for you usually are... But I thought this was like a whole potato so there's that... The sweet and sour? Not like you're used up. Chunks of pineapple, real chicken not murdered in batter. Super good but still a little too sweet for me. I am not usually a curry person. I LOVE the curry here!! I've had the red and yellow - chose not spicy, available on the pick up menu direct on the website. Not spicy, not available on the delivery door dash or Uber. Considering the Not Spicy is still 🌶.... We pick up. Oooo and the sticky sweet rice with custard? Squeeee Try it. Just try it.

We had a great experience dining here! All of the dishes were delicious. The aesthetic and atmosphere were both more on the casual side. The food looked very well put-together and schnazzy. This is one of my favorite Thai places in the Raleigh area!

Went by 3 other Thai restaurant on my 25 min drive to get to Bangkok Thai. First time there, the positive reviewers got me to choose this fine establishments. Ordered drunken noodles (wide noodles). The dish smelled wonderful on the way back home. Filled the hot-rod with wonderful aromatic of Thai Cuisine. The dish tasted wonderful, I will go here again. The only reason for the 4 star is, I placed the order when I left home, I was told the ready time will be 20min. Took me 25 min to get there, and I had to wait..wait.. total of 50 min of wait. Service was wonderful, friendly and kind. I will say there were 3 families dining in, but their take out orders were continues, customers kept coming in one after another. Next time will take the family for dine in.

4 of us went for dinner. I saw it had good reviews so we tried it. We were there around 6:30 for dinner and we were the only ones there so I assume they do a lot of take out. The staff were very attentive and courteous. I had the Pad Thai with chicken, not spicy and it was okay, not bad but not great. The Thai dumplings and crab Rangoon we shared were really good. In general it was ok.

The food is absolutely amazing. I ate it too quickly to get photos of everything. The spring rolls are soooo fresh, and they have the best peanut sauce I’ve ever eaten!

Our go-to spot every Friday, where we enjoy Pineapple fried rice and mixed fried rice as our top picks. As lovers of spicy food, the Thai spice level here suits us perfectly. We highly recommend this place.

It definitely is one of the hidden mom pop Thai restaurant. Me and my wife have been hunting for some good Thai food and I must say, this is one of the best Thai restaurant in Raleigh. I decided to try their Thai spicy in my drunken noodles, it was delicious and super spicy holding all the flavor. My wife had green curry with beef; sauce was delightful and the meat was perfectly marinated. Staff is very friendly with chill atmosphere.

Hidden Gem in a plaza area. It's not fancy but the food and service is excellent. Some of it is hot and spicy as I expected for Thai. It's a good hot! They also have Thai beer and wine. Also, they have Gluten-free options, you just have to ask. They will make especially for you.

This was recommended by a local, so I tried it, and I was very pleased. There's a great lunch menu deal. It's a very small place, but the service and food is top notch. It's in a shopping center and doesn't necessarily stand out as impressive, but it is worth a visit. I loved the soups: Tom Ka Gai..."Chicken with fresh white mushroom, coconut milk, onion, bell pepper lime juice in galangal flavored broth." I liked this one better than the other, but both were tasty. Tom Yum Goong is "Chicken with fresh white mushroom, onion, bell pepper in spicy lime juice and lemongrass broth." Thai iced tea is appealing but with a slight weirdness. It's *not* like chai tea. I also enjoyed a bottle of sake. This place is a hidden gem.
