We stopped for lunch on our way to Virginia since we had been there for drinks once before with friends but had never eaten there. We were pleasantly surprised that since it was Monday our beers were only $3. My husband had the lunch special which was a chicken parm sub with fries and he could not stop talking about how delicious it was! I had the chicken Caesar wrap with a side salad and it did not disappoint! Our beers were great and we left full and happy. Highly recommend!!

I was in Raleigh earlier this month for a wedding with several other plate-holders and one-time regulars of the Nashville Saucer and we thought we'd check out the local version. I'm pleased to say the brand holds up across state lines; we were given good advice about local brews and offered plenty of tasters unsolicitedly when we couldn't make up our minds. Our waitress, Kathryn Ann, even sat down to chat with us for a bit when the crowd thinned and really made the place feel like home. I wish this building had a quieter outer room like the Nashville branch to facilitate conversation but all in all it was a great bit of added nostalgia for all of us, most of whom now live in Saucerless wastelands. Thanks Kathryn and crew!

Didn’t eat but beer was terrific - and they let u sample. Saved me from making a bad pick and helped me choose a winner. Waitress was very informed about the different selections. Cool vibe - definitely recommend

My husband and I visited for the first time late on a Friday night. Our bartender, Will, was fantastic! He schooled us on the many beers on tap, helped us to choose some new ones to try, talked with us about the history of flying saucer, the local area (we moved here only 5 years ago), his personal experiences, as well as ours. He was so attentive, and managed to stay on top of all his customers as he spoke with us. The food was delicious, the beer was refreshing, and Will made our visit complete! I highly recommend Flying Saucer, and if you go on the weekend you may be lucky enough to meet Will!!!

Stopped in here after 10 PM already a little drunk to see if the kitchen was open. It was. We ordered the cheese fries and the roast beef sandwich. The sandwich was good the cheese fries were amazing, just perfect drunk food. Service was great the place is clean and inviting. Tons of beers on tap, with a good selection of bottles and cans available also. The crowd had good energy and it was a good experience. I would definitely come back, especially for those fries. :)

Absolutely amazing atmosphere, this is definitely a place you come back over and over again with friends. Place is huge, very cozy environment and rocking a dope playlist to boot. Came here at the recommendation of a friend and let them order for us, and we were not disappointed 🤤. I'm not much of a drinker myself, but the challenge to get my name on the wall was pretty cool and stuck in my head long after I was gone haha; I was reading punchlines and quotes from people who got their name on the wall sirca 2000🤣, was the best.

One of the few places in Raleigh open after 10pm that still serves (tasty!!) food as well as drinks They have a wonderful extensive, ever changing draft list and a huge variety of canned/bottled beer as well. Their cocktails are also noteworthy. The servers are always on top of it, very friendly and accomodating! This might become a regular spot for me and my friends :)

Great place to meet friends for drinks and dinner...my friends really enjoyed their pizza, and I had the Hungry Farmer (meet and cheese plate), which had awesome cheeses! The draft selection is hard to beat, and the atmosphere is really casual...

Very cool place. $4 beer Mondays and the food was good! For a brewery, the salad was yummy! The dry rub wings were delicious. They had a huge variety of beer, it's hard to choose. The chips are made in house, super addicting lol check this place out!

I enjoyed my visit to the Flying Saucer for lunch. It was not very busy during lunch on the weekday that I visited, which was nice. The server was very friendly and took great care of our table. I am not a big beer drinker but found something I liked from their diverse beer selection. I ordered a Cobb salad and was pleased that it included a pretty large quantity of chicken.

Food was creatively delicious! Much enjoyed the variety of options. Great draft beer selection. But above all was the service!!! It really pleases us when staff proactively removes dirty glasses and dish ware. It demonstrates that the collective group works as a team. The reuben with jalapeño sauerkraut was fabulous. Trivia night on Halloween 🎃 was also very entertaining.

I was here a couple of weekends back and was over all impressed with their selection of beers. Our bartender was Aaron and he did a great job not just handling the large crowd that followed after us but also helping us decide what drink we would enjoy while trying something new. By the end both me and my sister signed up for the flying saucer club and can’t wait to return!!

Flying saucer is one of the most underrated spots in raleigh. Their good is genuinely really good and it is a great atmosphere to grab a quick but solid bite to eat (or a few drinks). Also can't go wrong with Trivia. One of my favorite places in the area.

Dope environment, large draft selections, great prices and friendly service. Forgot the name of the appetizer but the one with the two giant pretzels was really good. I’d definitely recommend coming here if you’re in the area.

Great place to check out downtown. They have indoor and outdoor seating, plus the doggos are welcome! The service was great. Natalie was super friendly and informative on what are some great things to do in Raleigh after we left. We tried the girls scout Cookie flight which was amazing! We just swung by for drinks but will be back soon for food.
