*Update*: The manager of the location reached out to me and listened to my feedback about the food serviced to me. I was given a gift card and another meal of my choice (hot and fresh). Michelle is a wonderful spirit and I plan to come during their Trivia nights. Thank you for listening to customers!! Ordered delivery from my workplace as it was one of the options. Never had their food but passed by a couple of times. Upon opening my food I could tell the fries were not seasoned.. no flavor. I asked for regular chicken fingers and received Buffalo sauce ones (The menu online through Lunchdrop was confusing). The fingers were soggy not even warm at all. I've had sauced stuff before and this definitely was not fresh! The only thing flavorful about my lunch was the BBQ sauce. At least they got my added BBQ sauce right 🙃 Meal was $10 can't complain too much.

Not for everyone. If your looking for a chain polished sports bar , it is not. The 5 stars is not for the decor. That’s subjective but the food was hearty , well priced and the service was great , thank you Charlie , made our visit special.

This was my first time at Sammy's Tap & Grill. We has a business lunch with 5 of us. Our server greeted us promptly and took our drink orders. He made a recommendation based on what one of my co workers was looking for. He was spot on. It is definitely a college bar. If your looking for a relaxed atmosphere and good food Sammy's is the place for you. On a side note NC States head women's basketball coach was having lunch 2 tables over from us.

My wife (a big Pittsburgh fan) and I just moved to the Raleigh area and were told that Sammy's was the Steelers bar in town that we had to try. Not going to lie, we looked at reviews before coming, and saw the recent ones were hit and miss. But we were happy to arrive on a Sunday, and enjoy the atmosphere. Lots of other Steelers fans, service was good with our waitress checking on us multiple times during the game, food was decent (typical bar food -- nachos, wings, burgers and wraps with fries, etc.), nice selection of beer and cocktails, and plenty of TVs both inside and outside. We will definitely be back!

We just had the best time at Sammy’s Tap and Grill! We had a large party that Michelle, the awesome manager, reserved a terrific table for us. Our server, Maura, was fantastic. Thank you for the great service and food!

Sammy's Tap & Grill in Raleigh is a true gem for those who appreciate a friendly atmosphere and an excellent selection of beers on game night. The menu is varied, offering delicious dishes that demonstrate careful, typically American preparation. Although some items may seem a little pricey, the quality and portion often justify the price. Service is generally prompt and courteous, making every visit a pleasure. Despite the occasionally high cost, the overall experience is well worth the detour.

We went there to celebrate my son’s Birthday and To watch the Steeler game. I was a little nervous because the Panthers were playing at the same time. But as soon as the game started MOST of the TVs switched to Black and gold! They food is good and reasonably priced. The majority of the seating is in a partially open air area. It can get hot. Don’t go there on a first date because it is loud and often crowded! Do go there for great food, cold beer, and football!

Had such a great time at Sammy’s the night of the NCSU/Duke and UNC/Miami games. Gustavo was incredibly attentive to our very large group. People were coming and going and asking for things at different times and he was on top of it all! Also didn’t hurt that we won incredibly Hurricanes game tickets in a half-time raffle. Sammy’s is a perfect spot for game day. Lots of good parking, decent sized menu, and plenty of seating.

Sammy's Grill has amazing bar food and one of the best yellowfin tuna sandwiches I've had! Give them a try. Great atmosphere. Plenty of seating and a pool table

This place is a really good food spot. I'm not into sports but the food makes up for it all. They have a great Buffalo wing wrap and the service was great. Our waiter, Q, was very nice and helped us with any needs we had. Overall I recommend it.

Sammy's was a fun place for my kids to visit. Dad and I wanted a beer and the kids were fascinated with the 20+ TVs they were able to view at a time while sitting and waiting for their food. The beer was great & the food was okay. I know food prices have been going up, but for the basic food we got on our plate I'm still hungry. We also had to pay $3 a drink for each kid on top of their food cost (like a normal adult). Trivia night (Tues night) was starting so we hustled out of there as soon as we could to allow the adults to play.

Sammy's is an established local sports bar. Plenty of tvs, seating inside and outside, and a menu that should have something for everyone. Food is your standard bar fare, so don't go expecting anything crazy. Note: it is a Wolfpack bar and a Steelers bar. If there is a game, it will be crowded.
