Just visiting the Raleigh, NC area for a class, Stromboli's Express is just around the corner, so of course it makes a very easy lunch option. One just cannot beat their lunch specials, a salad, hot fresh bread, 2 slices of pizza, and a drink, all for $10!🤯 I'm hooked, will have lunch there every day of my class. Good food, good atmosphere, and good price!
Food took a little while to come out, but it seems like everything was make to order so that makes sense! Above average chicken parm and a very solid 4 cheese calzone.
The lunch time specials are an incredible value. I ordered 2 slices of pizza and a Ceasar salad for $10.10 and was amazed at the size of the salad and pizza. The service was fast and the counter staff was very friendly. Would definitely recommend.
The pizza crust is flavorful and tastes much better than chain restaurants- love the vodka penne with grilled chicken, the tortellini soup, and the calzones. I haven’t had a bad meal yet!
The food was actually impeccably good. I was a little put off by the employees on their phones and carrying on a conversation in Spanish joking and flirting when, I'm assuming, they didn't think their customers could understand them. That being the only drawback I had with the restaurant. Do take into affect, that this was late lunchtime and there was only 1 other customer in the restaurant. The price was pretty good for 2 custom Stromboli's and as I said before, it was delicious.
I ordered take out. But the time I got home (15 minutes), the food was still hot! I got the Ravioli Sorrento. It was delicious beyond amazing! I'll definitely revisit!
Glazed Garlic Chicken Pizza was really good. A little light on chicken but really tasty. Staff was friendly. We did find the music too loud to talk at our table.
A great local restaurant that never disappoints! Started with the pear and gorgonzola salad followed by Spinach ravioli and grilled chicken in a lemon cream sauce. It was a wonderful surprise. Took half of it home for another meal. Treat yourself!
Food is always good. The order is never incorrect. Good Meatballs, good at cooking macaroni just the right amount, good free bread.
This was my first time to this establishment. The service was good and the food tasty. Being from the NY/NJ area I a very picky with my pizza and Italian food. I got the pear walnut salad and a pepperoni and cheese Stromboli.
I live Italian food and missing NY style foodies. Found this gem out of nowhere while driving. Why I never heard of his place since being in this city for 5 yrs? Not the best atmosphere but who cares if the food is fantastic? Best restaurants carry the best sauce. This is one of them. Stromboli is their specialty and so delish! Daughter got checkin parm and was good too. I wanna go back tonight.
Food was amazing! The best bread you will eat. We got a sausage Stromboli, buffalo wings, and a Caesar salad.
If you're in the mood for homemade taste this is the place to be. Great flavors. I had the cheesy garlic bread just the right amount of garlic, butter and cheese mouthwatering. Also i had avocado and grilled chicken the kind that has been in wood fire oven chicken salad with balsamic vinaigrette. If you want home cook taste and not chain Restaurant visit Stromboli.
