Hummingbird - Raleigh - Photo album

I’ve been to this place several times, the food, cocktails, and the friendly staff always keep me coming back. The welcome is always warm, the food is just reminiscent enough of New Orleans to hold me over until my next trip.… Seating: I’ve made a reservation a few times inside and out, but I prefer
Hummingbird is a welcoming home away from home. Always great to just go for a cocktail and a snack (sometimes to work a little more while at the bar) or a lovely place to take a group you want to impress. Brunch here is a no brainer, excellent and reservations are important to have, they fill up fas
We had a Sunday reservation and we were seated promptly in their “main” indoor dining space. The area is very very small and you can hear employee conversations. I asked the hostess if there were any other seating options and she shared there was the bar and outside but it was too hot outside. We de
Very unique decor, great bar and side room with cozy seating. Art everywhere. Pleasant ambiance and music. Fantastic brunch menu. Everything from shrimp and grits to oyster Po Boy sandwiches, gravlax and toast and steak & eggs... went for the shrimp and grits. Beautiful plating, but my dish was
I finally made it into Hummingbird for dinner and loved it. Brunch is great and dinner is better. My wife and I came in with another couple and we bought too many things and had too many drinks and I regret nothing! The service was amazing and friendly. The chef stopped by our table, she was graciou
Wish I could give them EXTRA stars!!!! My husband and I have been coming to Hummingbird every Sunday for a little over a year so it’s safe to say we’re hooked! Their charbroiled oysters, chicken and waffles and ricotta fritters are among are faves but the best part of this restaurant is their staff!
The inside of this place is tiny but the flavors of the food are anything but small. The New Orleans inspired dishes are bold and flavorful. This part diner, part eclectic cafe is an interesting find. It is definitely worth your time to visit.
Chic little place for brunch and a cocktail. I went around 12 on a Saturday and it was busy, but not packed. I was seated quickly, and staff was perfectly pleasant and personable. We had the banana bread French toast, biscuits and gravy, and a side of home fries (we were a little worried portion siz
We celebrated a recent birthday dinner at Hummingbird and will definitely return. Every one of their New Orleans inspired dishes was tasty and presented beautifully. We ordered a variety of small plates and enjoyed them all. Their strawberry meringue dessert was a perfect finish to an outstanding me
I am not a brunch person, meaning I find breakfast/brunch to be overpriced for what you get. So I didn't have high hopes when coming here. I was pleasantly surprised, I absolutely loved my shrimp and oyster po boy(worth every penny), fresh made chips were great, even if lacking salt. Wife had steak
We went for brunch on Easter Sunday. The staff was friendly, drinks were fresh and delicious, food was super flavorful. Be sure to grab an order of the Riccotta Fritters they are a MUST! The best chicken and waffles I have ever had! One of thee tastiest brunch spots in Raleigh! Make reservations s
Food was great. Prices were alittle high but quality of the food was worth it. I had the devil eggs, steak and the ice cream sandwich was big enough to share. My friend had Shrimp and roasted cauliflower. Everyone from the host, wait staff and chef were very friendly. I would recommend to this t
On September 29, I attended a surprise birthday party for my wife, hosted by her adult children, at Hummingbird. The bill was about $1,100. The food and service were fine. When I returned to my car to go home, I had received a $50 parking ticket. The parking lot serving Hummingbird and two or th
Such a cute spot got brunch. I had the chicken and waffles with an iced latte. The food was great and my server was fantastic! They do take reservations and parking is super easy. They have options to eat inside and outside.
Loved every thing I had! Cocktails are delicious 🤤
Saturday morning brunch, just a random stop in and it was full, but they were able to seat us at the bar. The food was quick and delicious (their house potato chips are legit), the bartenders were friendly and engaging- I would go here again to try them for dinner.
