As good as the one in downtown Raleigh. Meatballs, seafood diabla and bread were very tasty. Good Italia restaurant.
The portion size is great, you could possibly share a dish. We got the one with pink sauce. The sauce was too watery. The garlic knots we got were a little over cooked not soft. We found a noodle in our dish. A little over priced for the taste. But the quantity makes up for it.
Outstanding Italian food and fun atmosphere. Daniel was a great host. Dennis played piano which added to the enjoyment. Will come here again definitely!
This is the 3rd year in a row getting take-out for our work holiday lunch. Chicken Parm, Pasta, and Garlic knots....all on point for 25 people. Everything was hot and perfect for us. Staff accommodated our cheese allergies. Prices have increased, but it's worth the money because the team loves it. Thank you for preparing a great meal for a hard-working crew!!
This is a cute spot! Good italian food in a kind of themed-ish restaurant. The meatballs were REALLY GOOD and they had complimentary garlic knots! Had a good time with friends.
Visited Vic's with my wife during our lunch hour and were immediately welcomed by their incredibly friendly staff. I savored their spaghetti paired with authentic handmade meatballs, a true testament to culinary perfection. My wife was equally impressed with the "everything" pizza, particularly its delectable crust. The ambiance, combined with the warmth and attentiveness of the staff, made our experience at Vic's truly unforgettable. If you're looking for genuine, heartwarming dishes and top-notch service, Vic's is the place to be. Highly recommended!
This place was awesome! I tried the New Yorker and Hawaiian pizzas, both were delicious! The Vic’s salad was also amazing as well as the garlic knots. We got the food to go and it took about 30 minutes but it was worth the wait. Overall I’d highly recommend stopping by Vic’s when you’re in Raleigh!
Placed a take-out order for a family/birthday meal. Food was ready on time, hot and delicious, excellent meat sauce and lasagne. Plenty of salad and garlic knots. We love eating in the restaurant but this was our first experience with take-out. Just an excellent experience and would not hesitate to repeat this again.
Headed here for dinner and it was quite good. I got their filet and roasted potatoes with vegetables —though the roasted potatoes were deep fried not roasted :) The food was good, but not incredible. I did enjoy the meal, but I left feeling unsatisfied. The service was extremely quick and efficient, with drinks filled consistently. The server was polite and friendly. It’s not that easy to find in the plaza, though there is plenty of parking. Great experience overall.
Very authentic and on point Italian cuisine. Professional and timely staff. Daniel was informative and a joy to have as our server. Definitely worth our trip from CLT. Kudos to this establishment.
Food was average... felt a bit pricey to me, but maybe I've not caught up with inflation yet. It was an easy 3 stars for the money, but the service pulled it up to 4 - server was very friendly and helpful.
I got the penne alla vodka - it was pretty good... We also tried out the deluxe pizza, which at 14" was plenty for 2 people.
I honestly have no complaints at all... was just not blown away.
This place is phenomenal. I really enjoyed the Italian food served here as I am an average joe. The fried calamari was delicious. It was really cool to see the owner in the restaurant and working hard beside his employees. I have a huge respect for that and will happily come back to this place. Very cozy atmosphere.
Amazing Food! Linguine white clams, pasta Primavera and penee vodka! Absolutely delicious. Here visiting our son from NJ. We will make this part of our rotation when visiting Raleigh! Thanks Vic’s you did not disappoint!
I hosted a party of 20 here on Tuesday night and had the entire back room, our server was amazing! She was kind polite and very accommodating. I even set up a presentation and they let me pre order wine and apps to set on a separate table. All of that was on one check and then everyone else was separate and she didn't put up a fuss. (We all know how 20 separate checks is very annoying) so if you do something like this just please be sure to tip a little extra! Thank you Mario for allowing me to host this party at your restaurant, you will be seeing us again!
Enjoyed a nice Tuesday lunch at Vics on Lake Boone Trail. Enjoyed the 'New Yorker' pizza and the 'Original' Stromboli! Service fast and pleasant, and the business lunch atmosphere made for a nice meeting place. It was delightful to hear Italian echoing across the dining room!
We were visiting Raleigh for the day to take the family to some museums, we're from Wilmington and decided on this cute little spot for an early dinner...Overall: 9.8/10, honestly. Great atmosphere, clean, friendly staff, Daniel was hilarious and he and the other nice blonde haired server (missed her name, she was very nice) really made sure me, my wife and our 4 kids were taken care of. The Food: 9.5/10 it was top tier Italian, flavorful, well presented and reasonably priced for what you get, a filling plate. I had the Pollo Del Re. We will definitely make this our go to spot when we are in Raleigh. Thanks for being a great place to relax and eat delicious food with good people after a long day 😉 (**photo not edited)
