Oak City Cafe - Raleigh - Photo album

One of the best places I have eaten in a while. Chef was great and personal, people are down to earth and super friendly and food was amazingly seasoned. Quickly becoming favorite place to go.
Stumbled upon this cozy diner on a rainy day in Raleigh. As soon as we arrived, the owner immediately greeted us at the door and made sure we were settled in our seats. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the Kitchen Sink, and the skillet warmed me right up. I highly recommend this dish. In this
Friendly staff, cozy clean place. The food is good, hash Browns little to oily but, the taste was delicious the owner told me that they got more people than usual that morning for that reason it’s was slow. I’ll try again.
BEST café in Raleigh! Small, comfortable atmosphere with freshly ground coffee that rivals even Morning Times. The food is chef-inspired and somehow comfort food all at once! When you can order breakfast and a coffee that tastes gormet for less than $8, all you can do is keep coming back for more.
This place is highly recommended. I ordered the gyro which came with tater tots. The tots were good, however I don't really eat them. The gyro was awesome. They have specials everyday and today was Friday which was $1 beers with wrap and sandwiches. I am also including a photo of the Indian food spe
Don't let the location fool you (next to Days Inn)! This diner is AMAZING! Seriously, my husband and I both commented that it's the nicest diner we've ever been to. The menu is eclectic, and there's something for everyone. We shared the samosas (the owners are Indian) as an appetizer, and they were
We went there after church the other day. They were out of a lot of things but we did find something to eat. A little bit of a wait though. The food was good and the restaurant was clean. I love the complimentary water bottles. The husband and wife who run the place are so nice and accommodatin
This place is great! I prefer it over Angie's, down the street. The food is so good and fresh. The biscuits and waffles are amazing, and try the Kitchen Sink Skillet if you have a big appetite! The waitstaff are very friendly and perfectly attentive. We love coming here!
Reviews looked great, so we decided to check it out. Very happy we did! Very inexpensive and the service is outstanding! Family owned and operated and this level of attention is reflected through their evolving menu and great guest experience. My wife got the french toast waffle and made me try it.
Hidden gem! Great menu, super friendly people, fantastic prices and really tasty food. We had the Hawaiian chicken, fish tacos, shrimp and grits, and samosas for an appetizer. Everything was really good and clearly made fresh and with care. Lots of vegetarian and even some vegan options too. It's ni
My husband I stumbled upon this little gem for dinner and we are so glad we did! The staff was really friendly and the good food was great. I had the chicken tacos (their homemade salsa is amazing) and my husband had the chicken and waffles (which was delicious! We shared the apple crumble for desse
We love this place. We've stopped by twice for lunch in the past month and had an amazing experience both times. The owner is so kind, caring and hospitable. He bends over backwards to make sure his guests have a great meal. The menu is fantastic, with really high quality food and great portions. It
Great food with great variety, professional, friendly, and timely staff!
About a year ago when they first opened I gave them a five star rating with no actual review. In that year they have become my go to breakfast place so I figured I'd update this. The food is always great quality and seasoned well. The owners go out of their way to speak with my fiance and I every ti
Went to breakfast. Service was good. The food was very good, cooked perfect, visually appealing and just the right portions size to fill you up without being overly full. I went when they first opened up and the experience wasn't great but they definitely worked out the bugs. I will be back again to
The food was incredible! My wife found it through TripAdvisor, and we were not disappointed. We had steered away because of the prior restaurant at that location, but it is neat and clean now. I had an Indian appetizer and platter. Best Indian food I have ever had, and I have Indian friends from
Very surprised by this place. The food was amazing. We were looking for a breakfast place with good food but something a bit different and we decided to give this place a shot. I am honestly sad that I had not tried it before today. Great customer service. They truly deserve and have earned this fiv
The owners were very friendly and had great customer service. The food was delicious. The Chori Omelette had high quality ingredients and fresh flavors. Everything we ordered had a lot of thought that went into determining the ingredients and presentation. The prices are affordable. The entire rest
Wife and I were craving some breakfast on a Friday night and we found this little place - it was fantastic ! Absolutely the best French Toast I have ever had and all our food was delicious.
