I've been eating DP Dough for many years. It's good food for a great price. Last night I ordered the "dragon" calzone and one of the employees actually drew a dragon on the box! I had to share the artwork with the world. It made me smile during a bad work night.

The staff was very nice and friendly. I asked for a recommendation and got the chicken bacon ranch calzone. It was done quicker than I expected and was so delicious! They also had a pitcher of water and cups for free, so that was nice.

Food is AMAZING!! We've tried about 10 different calzones from across the menu, and haven't been disappointed yet! Staff is friendly and efficient, but it can get a bit crowded due to the small size of the store for our party (6 people)

Consistently the best calzones anywhere! I don't live in Raleigh, but when I visit, I have to go here. They're affordable, laid back, and the quality can't be beat.

**D.P. Dough - review** D.P. Dough is the place to go for all calzone lovers in Raleigh. A standout concept in the plethora of fast-food options, D.P. Dough focuses on crafting perfectly cooked calzones bursting with unique, savory flavors. D.P. Dough's menu is quite varied, offering a wide selection of calzones to suit all tastes. Whether you're a meat lover, vegetarian, or looking for a spicy option, there's a calzone for you. Each calzone is generously garnished and wrapped in a crispy golden pastry that's simply irresistible. The restaurant's atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, ideal for a quick night out or to satisfy a midnight craving, since they're open late. The staff are always friendly and service is fast, even during peak hours. Another advantage of D.P. Dough is the ability to order online for delivery or collection, which is perfect for lazy evenings or late study sessions. All in all, D.P. Dough is a real find for those looking for a tasty alternative to the usual fast food options. With its delicious calzones, quick service and relaxed atmosphere, it's a valuable addition to Raleigh's culinary scene. Rating: 5/5

Really good! They made it totally fresh (which is expected) and it was so good. I can’t say this about many chains that use chicken as a filling/topping but... I love the chicken here. I got the chicken fajita and it tasted quality. The veggies were great on this and I love how they always provide marinara. Pretty good price for how much food you get.

The most delicious wings and calzones in all Raleigh! Definitely must try. I got state sauce wings with blue cheese and the school zone calzone hooked up with garlic parmesan and Italian seasonings.

Large well stuffed calzones. Interesting variety of fillings. Even low CAL options which is nice to see. The devil was thin and crunchy and not overly heavy on the breading. One of the best Kelso news I’ve had. Small walk in, order at the counter, a few tables to eat inside. Nothing pretentious. A few tables outside. Prices are good for the portion size. And late night service.

I'm a huge fan. The staff is super friendly, and the food is the bomb. Several people who work here have gone out of their way to take care of me, and I very much appreciate that. TIP WELL! They deserve it and more. Here is a picture of part of their menu. It has the vegetarian options separated. My favorites are the eggplant parm and the mac n' cheese (add jalapeno and tomato). You really can not go wrong here.

Used to love this place when I went to college, so I’m giving it 4 stars for nostalgia, but the past couple times it really hasn’t been that good. This pic is of the Combo Zone, I ordered a Blasting Zone for my husband and if I posted a picture of it, you wouldn’t want to eat here. Mostly banana peppers and the cheese wasn’t even remotely melted. I hope I just went on a couple of off days...

This is one of the few late night food places in Raleigh that's been around forever. The food is good. The price is cheap. 4pm to 4am every day. And to any complaints a few months ago, they've gone through a big change in management and employees, so everything is way improved. As for the long wait times... they are short staffed. But they are hiring like crazy!! I worked here and the management is awesome! And the tips/delivery bonus is great nightly takeaway for drivers. Give them a try before trusting the bad reviews. My faves are the Southern Zone and the Apple Pie (so amazing!)
