Stopped here for an early dinner. Ordered a garden salad and veggie pizza. They offered to put the salad on two plates as we were going to share. The salad was fresh and good (large for a side salad). The pizza was very good. Service was fast and accurate. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Homemade crust, tried a slice of the spinach, tomatoes, fetta, and generous cheese, reheated loved it. A bit sweet, hand tossed! then the cinnamon balls. We decided to try several NY style places in area thru coupons delivered to house. My husband got the deluxe he liked it a little less.
I was impressed!
Ordered here because they had decent reviews and my go-to place(s) were closed, it was a Monday of course. I ordered a pizza, garlic-parm wings and a side Caesar salad (to cancel out the pizza and wings, obviously)….Everything was good. Maybe even great. The pizza had a nice thin, crispy crust and the cheese wasn’t burnt or greasy, toppings were average. Wings had a good amount of sauce on them and came right off the bone. The salad was pretty standard as far as salads go, it did the job. As a bonus the staff were friendly and helpful when I arrived to pick up my order. Would definitely recommend.
Just damn good pizza. Traditional NYC pizza that has a fantastic blend & ratio of bread, sauce, and cheese. As a northern transplant it's hard to find a good slice down here.... There's a comfort to Salvios that goes unmatched. It's an authentic pizza shop through and through.
Reading a past review that employees did not have mask on and a 1 star is just plain ridiculous. On our visit we experience no such thing nor would it bother me due to the fact they allow you to eat inside there restaurant without a mask so them not having a mask is not really a big deal. I believe there should be some common sense to people that want to complain about a mask or no mask.
Onto the pizza. Good prices. Good size. And best of all it tasted great.
Whenever we want pizza 🍕 this is our go to. Love the large cheese pizza,the best pizza in Raleigh thus far and we have tried a lot!

Salvio’s keeps the perfection going. Ordered for our sons birthday,a child that requested Salvio’s for his birthday dinner got that! We have 2 year old twins,each that can house a kids spaghetti with a meat ball,authentic Italian with perfect pasta. Valentino aka Tino and Nicky love it. Thank you!
Pizza was tasty. Sorry got a little ahead of myself and forgot to take a picture of both slices until after I ate one. Lol. Anyway, nice crispy crust and just enough sauce to not make it soggy. Good amount of toppings and the price for 2 slices and a drink is very affordable.
Staff is friendly and greet you as you come in the door. Overall a nice visit and will be coming again for lunch.
Let me open by saying I am a Southerner and I don't know what "real" N.Y. pizza tastes like. I am, however, a big fan of food and the pizza here has big, floppy and greasy slices with great flavor to boot. I tried an order of wings and they were well-cooked and seasoned. They hit that little wing spot craving.
The indoor seating area was well worn with booth seats that could do for a little love. A dated or worn decor is not enough to warrant a drop in score, but basic cleanliness is. The restaurant was by no means filthy, but I never like sitting down to a table with the crumbs of the previous guests giving me a sample of what to expect.
The most important part of a restaurant, the food, was very good and I will recommend it unabashedly!
We got two small (12") pizzas. The cheese was good, the pepperoni had too many pepperoni for my liking.

Ordered delivery today from this place and I was more than pleased. Everything tasted so fresh with so much flavor, and I love that you can split gourmet pizzas in half when ordering a full pie. I ordered a half pepperoni and a half white cheese Italian and added eggplant. Will definitely be ordering from here again!
As a New Yorker transplanted to N Carolina I'm always on the lookout for 2 things: NY style bagels and NY style pizza! Salvio's gets a thumbs-up from this hard - to - please New Yorker. Get a slice of the Full Size (NOT the personal size) pie and you'll know what I mean. The small, personal pie didn't have that great puffy NY outer-edge crust and was a bit thin and overdone. But, ah... the full-size pie nailed it! If only it was closer, I'd probably be there at least once a week.

In my opinion Salvio's is one of the top pizza placed in Raleigh. They make them exactly the way you want them! I love their thin crust pizza. The outer crust is crisp & yummy. They have delivered most of my orders in less time than they predicted. They are always my "go to" pizza.
