Fun drinks and upbeat staff. Really cool decorations! Bites were OK except the meatballs which were delicious! We had a blast! That drink for two was bowl licking amazing!
One of the best brunches I’ve had in Raleigh in a while! We got the brussel sprouts and the pimento cheese to start, and they didn’t disappoint. Everyone loved their dishes & the service was great. It was a bit of a chilly day but the patio is heated & very comfy. It’s dog friendly as well which was a nice bonus. Definitely give this place a try if you haven’t already!
Food and service were wonderful, Sydney is a fantastic waitress who provided excellent service. The chicken lollipops, pan seared salmon, and the apple crumble cheesecake are phenomenal! The owners of this restaurant believe in serving quality food and we're so thankful!
This place was recommended to us by a friend, and I will say it went well above my expectations. The atmosphere was relaxed out on the patio with a great view of downtown. The service was quick and friendly, and I will say some of the best food I've had in awhile. The drinks were on point and well made, I would highly recommend it for your next adventure.
The view was absolutely amazing! The service was fantastic, and our waiter Ashley took great care of us for my birthday. The food and drinks were delicious. The dark drink was called Muerte, and it was a perfectly made spiced margarita. You absolutely have to try the everything brussels sprouts, it shocked my mouth how good they were. The other dish that shocked me was the souther saltimbocca, which had chicken, country ham, and cheesy grits. The best tasting grits I've ever had! The pan searched Salmon was good. However
, I wasn't expecting a butternut squash pure. It was still tasty. They topped everything off with this RICH, CREAMY cheesecake Creme brulee!!! If u haven't already checked this spot out, ITS A MUST!
We enjoyed the vibe, decor and great service we received from the staff. The drinks were perfectly made and our food was delivered quickly and plated really well. The food was good, but isn't really the highlight.
The bruschetta and the turkey burger were perfection! The staff was friendly, the drinks were tasty and the view from patio was nice.
I absolutely recommend this place. Make a reservation (don't try to walk in) and go!
Marvelous, casual atmosphere overlooking downtown Raleigh. The Buying Thyme drink was delicious, and the Strawberry Bruschetta was likewise top notch. They had a good selection of non-alcoholic selections. Try the Buying Thyme.
High top tables for seating four, six or eight outdoors, and seating along the railing overlooking city, as well as regular height. Interior also had a variety of table sizes.
In the middle of the afternoon, when the outdoor temp was 85°, the covered outdoor seating was very comfortable, thanks to the generous breeze and the well-placed fans.
The wait staff was attentive and friendly. I will most definitely make this a regular spot.
Went here for a quick dinner before a concert. We had no trouble finding parking on the street but there is also a pay lot at the bottom of the hill. There was a nice indoor area and a HUGE patio. We sat at bar seats overlooking the city view on the patio. The had fans and misters going and it was very comfortable. We ordered the pimento dip appetizer, the strawberry salad, and the Wye Burger. It was all delicious! In fact we ate it up before I could take any pictures! The in house brewed beer was also very good! Would definitely return!
First stop on our visit to Raleigh! We were seated promptly, inside. Our waitress was super personable, attentive, and had great recommendations. I had the salmon (omg) and we ordered the everything brussel sprouts (omg!!!). I tried their newest released beer (can't remember the name but it was a super tasty sour) and my husband's cocktails (black pearl and bittersweet symphony) were both delicious. The bittersweet symphony especially was lightly smoky and so smooth. Very easy drinking!
I want to leave my review with great affection for the team that attended me yesterday August 8, thank you for making us feel so special on our anniversary, they welcomed us at the beginning with champagne, the food we ordered was super delicious, the attention was super nice And finally, the dessert is on the house and a chocolate tres leches cake was delicious. I was definitely not wrong in choosing them for such a special occasion that was our anniversary and it ended up being a marriage proposal 🤎✨ thank you, thank you forever.
Not bad at all for a great view of Raleigh and some good eats. I will definitely return, especially for the strawberry bruschetta and bbq fries. Wye Hill is alright with me!
11/30/23: Popped in for Sipping Santa Christmas Event. I love a good Tiki drink and was not disappointed. My wife and I worked our way through a good portion of the Tiki drink options and all of them were tasty. We stuck to the regular menu for food and it was delicious, per usual. First time for the pimento dip with crispy seasoned round french fries for dipping. So good. I will definitely be craving this dish anytime I see Wye Hill in the future. I also had the Pear and Goat Cheese salad with Salmon for dinner and it was wonderful. The salmon was cooked a light medium and heavily seasoned which worked perfectly with the salad. Bottom line, if you like a Tiki drink you should probably get to Wye Hill this December and get your Tiki on and if you can’t make it in December you’re still going to like Wye Hill when the Tikis are gone.

Good food with some of my favorite fries in Raleigh. Great craft cocktails and delicious house made beers all served on a patio overlooking the downtown’s warehouse district. With some of the friendliest service I’ve had anywhere, shout out to Shane who might be the friendliest person you know. For the food, The Bacon Lettuce Avocado and Tomato sandwich and fries are both yummy, would recommend. On my most recent visit I had the Wye Hill Burger after it made Raleigh Magazine’s top 10 burger list. This burger is spendy ,nearly $20.00, but if you’re alright spending that kind of money on a burger the Wye Hill Burger IS a great burger. Seasoned all the way through with a fried green tomato, bacon, two types of cheese, and sauce, mmmmmm. I’m guessing they ground their beef in house because it’s finely ground and has a delicate crumble that practically dissolves when you chew it. The current house salad, the strawberry fields salad is also delicious. Light and summery with a nice balance between sweet from candied nuts, tangy rich from the goat’s cheese, and the mild acidity of the dressing. Wye Hill is doing it right.
My Husband and I tried out Wye Hill last week as part of an Offline offer and we are both SO glad we did. The vibe is welcoming and fun from the moment you arrive. There are several different seating options and they do take reservations. The staff is incredibly kind and accommodating, they joked around with us and seemed to be enjoying themselves while at work which is always a good sign. The drinks and food were definitely delicious. We had the dill pickle pimento cheese app (AMAZING), I had the salmon dish and my husband had a burger which he was very impressed with. As an added bonus, the views are incredible of the city! We will definitely be back in the future and would recommend Wye Hill to anyone!
The Wye Hill Burger is without a doubt, the best burger I’ve ever had. Service was impeccable and attentive. Ambiance was lively, yet you could still have conversations with your table. So impressed with this spot and can’t wait to visit again.
