This fun bar offers local brews, including specials on the beer and appetizers. I went on a Sunday afternoon, after visiting a Museum; we enjoyed 50 cent chicken wings with a variety of barbecue sauces as well as different types of beers. They have many big screen TVs. I've been here during the summertime and sat outside, eating their delicious hamburgers. The restaurant is big so, even during busy times, it's worth giving it a try.
This may be my favorite pub in the Raleigh area (and there are some good ones). Actually, this is probably my favorite pub anywhere. Love how they've broken the place up into intimate dining areas with Irish themes. The later it gets the younger the crowd. I like to go early, but choose your timing based on whether you want a quiet dinner or an exciting night on the town.
This place has the best karaoke anywhere in town, Steve Penny is the host and is so friendly, not your typical "dull angry karaoke DJ" at all! He always has the songs I want or will get them for me so my friends and I can pretend we are rock stars for a few minutes and forget about work for awhile. Go check him out on Wed and Fridays.
Another tip: the bartender behind the main bar is HOT!!
Great Culture & Vibe. A good mix of local & domestic/international beers. This Pub can be the life of party on Glenwood South during events.
One of the best Irish pubs in Raleigh. Bar is awesome. Live bands rock it on the weekends.
