Pizza by the slice is a tough task to get right... You either got a crust that's to thin with toppings sliding off when you take a bite or a thick crust that gives your jaw a workout.
I think these guys are on the right track.

Located near Duke raleigh hospital. Service was great. Have option of calling in or doing only order. Plenty of parking. Only downside is they are not open on sunday. One of limited places in raleigh that has the gyro pizza. But overall would visit again.
Pizza and garlic knots are good. This place feels like a NY pizza kitchen
Love this place! They have great homemade sauce that tastes delicious on their brooklyn/Margherita style pizza. My wife and I also love the spaghetti and meatballs, so much flavor!! And the garlic knots are some of the best I've had in Raleigh. Staff is always friendly!!
Have tried their pastas, strombolis & pizza…ALL AWESOME !!! And great customer service, quick delivery etc.

One word. Delicious! I really like their pizza, their gyros and their wings, which by the way they're big, not like other places that seem to have pigeon's wings. I haven't tried all of their menu, but I'm sure everything is good. Give this place a try, you would NOT regret it!
Update: I believe this place changed owner or management because now the wings are not big as they used to, the calzone is also smaller, it went from an empanada shape to a burrito shape and not enough meats/stuff in it :(
I will keep ordering from here but my original review had to be amended since it's no longer true, sadly their wings aren't big anymore all portions went smaller.
Great prices on “real” pizza. The new owner is a very nice family guy. I overheard his conversation as I ate. He went up and beyond in serving me. I ate alone and it was a great experience. I love the pepperoni pizza!
This place has great lunch specials and the people working there are nice. Whenever I'm in the mood for a gyro I always stop by this place. The portions are very good. You'll definitely be full. You can get a gyro, chips and a drink for $6. Their calzones are awesome. You better be hungry because they are huge.
I have been eating here since they have been open, the lunch special (2 slices and a drink) is my go to. The lasagna used to be good but has gone down hill over the past couple years, too much sauce and little cheese. Service is always good.
Update: as always the service has been great. the quality of food hasn't really changed over the past year but, I have pretty much written the lasagna off.
I've been coming here for years for pizza. One of the only places here that has legitimate New York Pizza, not to mention it's the best out of them.
The main reason I am finally making a review, is because of the service I received tonight.
I called and ordered two Phillies, both of them not the normal way. There was a small problem with a sandwich. He offered to replace it but I told him I did not have a ride back to the store. He asked where I stayed, made a new sandwich and had it delivered to me less than 10 minutes after I got off the phone with him.
Best Philly's in Raleigh. Best pizza in Raleigh. Best service in Raleigh.
This place is great! I don’t review many restaurants but I have no complaints about their food or service, it’s always been above expectations! The staff is friendly and provide great service. Prices are perfect
First time eating here and I can say my experience was nice. I was greeted placed my order and had it made quickly. I got a chicken philly sandwich, chips and a drink for $6 (and some change). The sandwich is delicious! Will have to go back and try their pizza
