A great neighborhood establishment. The staff are personable and witty. The chef Jamie makes quality pies, calzones, salads, and sandwiches...and sometime surprises like oysters on the shell. Great variety of beer and wine on/off. Outdoor patio is awesome. Pet & children friendly.

We walked in and was going to leave, but the owner was so friendly he talked us into staying. So glad we did. The pizza was great and the salad was fantastic. You should stop in if you are in the area!

Everything was delicious! Even if you are not into pizza, come for the brussel sprouts. They were unlike any I've ever tasted.

Excellent FRESH pizza with great taste and a phenomenal beer selection. If you don’t like what they have on tap, they have a giant selection of canned and bottled beer in the market. There is a phenomenal wine selection here too. Back to pizza, the pizza is legit. This will be one of my go to pizza joints from now on. Incredibly well done and the chef here knows what he is doing. Enjoy.

Great place run by great people. I usually ride my motorcycle here and have a slice or two. The other day I arrived had a great time and some great food. Unfortunately upon leaving someone had decided to steal my helmet, bluetooth headset, and gloves off my bike. However the support and concern for my safety and loss of property by the staff was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this establishment and even more so for the people who run/work it.

This is a nice place with good food, the owner who stopped by the table was a nice guy and seems to care for his customers. The outside dining area is nice and the overall face lift of the property is great and was much needed. I didn't try the pizza but they looked very good, and the beer selection is ok, I myself would like to see some more beer that is on the less hoppy side, but overall this is a nice place to go out to.

Best neighborhood corner store around! Fairly large grocery selection, great beer and wine selection. We live nearby and I asked if they could carry my favorite local beer, 2 weeks later it was in the cooler!! Plus the pizza place that is inside of the store is my everything!! I could eat there everyday.

Great local grill and market. Pricing on prepackaged goods is reasonable. Great beer selection and they have a ratjer extensive wine selection, especially for a small market. They have sake in case you're in the mood for that. Now that the menu has changed, the burger and fries is like a secret item that's amazing.

The new Brookside Market & Pizza opened in late 2017 and is a great place to grab a pizza, sandwich, salad, or calzone. I have personally tried two of the sandwiches and they were delicious. The beer selection is robust and there are also a few great convenience items in the market side, my personal favorite is the locally roasted coffee.

The is the first time I've ever done an online review so I'm serious about my review. Living in Philadelphia for 30 years, I know a great cheesesteak and I'm here to tell you, Brookside Pizza has a GREAT cheesesteak. This is truly the best I've had in the 20 + years that I've been in NC. Their pizza is also delicious! Prices are very good for the quality of food. And I have to say the staff is wonder also.

The guys in the kitchen know what's up. Everything tastes fresh and unique, the set up is like that of an old neighborhood market that you just don't see anymore, and occasionally the owner comes to sit and have a drink with the patrons. It's a good spot.

While Brookside has "pizza" in their name, I highly recommend trying the other things this cool market and bottle shop have to offer. The staff turned me on to their Philly Cheesesteak which is one of the best ones I've had in Raleigh. I've also tried the chicken and steak tacos, and in my opinion they were far superior to the overly-hyped Gonza Tacos. There is a constant rotation of specialty sides, like toasted garlic brussel sprouts. Beer prices for 6 packs are a few dollars more expensive, but you're probably buying here for the convenience and location and not the price. Excellent, diverse selection though - far better than Kroger and Trader Joe's. Come here for those specialty finds you're looking for.

It's a great spot eat there once or twice a week the food is a tremendous improvement from the old Brookside Pizza and they still have a great beer selection glad they carried on that tradition from the old business fantastic neighborhood vibe definitely definitely worth checking out.
