Amazing sushi. Glad we stopped here. Great beer selection and the Thai tea was good too.

We found this gem on the first of 2 nights in Red Bluff on a road trip - we enjoyed it so much we came back the second night ! The Onibi beer is really cool and all 4 flavors we tried were tasty. Service was pleasant and attentive and food came out quickly. The whole place was clean, bright and nicely decorated .
We had the salmon roll, Robb roll (I didn’t realize I needed bacon + curry in my life but now it is a must!), Tina roll, shrimp tempura roll, spicy tuna roll, Jimmy roll, gyoza and harumaki. From the Onibi beers we tried California rice lager, peach pale ale, Belgian saison and yuzu white ale (my favorite!) all were SO good and served in a nice frosty stein.
It’s not cheap but the whole experience is great so I’m ok with the prices.

The broth on the Ramen was decent but the Ramen itself made me almost regret buying it; it was top Ramen like. The rainbow sushi was totally worth it and amazing, same with the gyoza. The pale ale was 7 months old, just over the cusp but still good/decent tasting.
A surprising gem in (real) NorCal! Yes, authentic Japanese food in Red Bluff - coming from a happa who lives in SFBA. We try to stop here every time we go up to the family farm. Good sized portions, menu will satisfy everyone in the family, and friendly staff. If you have a craving for Japanese, you will not be disappointed!
