This place is really small & quaint. No bells & whistles & the food quality is always bomb. The selection is nice and plentiful & there's something for everyone. I like to stop in here before I go thrifting in the area.
In a few words: it's okay. The taste of the fish here is fine but the texture is not great.
They do give you a decent amount of fish though, and the takoyaki is pretty good. Salmon sashimi wasn't cut into slices, it was more like chunks, but in their chirashi bowl, they were sliced properly. The tea was good.
I believe the workers, waitress, and chef are all Korean, not Japanese. However, the food is still passing, I just probably wouldn't say that this place is worth it for the price.
Caterpillar roll was tasty, real crab meat and eel inside. $16 feels a bit pricy. Chicken teriyaki bento box meet expectations, but would like more sauce and rice. Still hungry after eating.
Love this hidden gem. Sushi is excellent with their own unique rolls and variety. The place is so cozy and nicely traditionally decorated. The best part of this quaint place is they play k-pop and j-pop as well as US pop music. Really takes me to another place with this perfect vibe. Definitely a neighborhood favorite.
Nice little restaurant. Most people were ordering takeout. I dined in, and enjoyed my meal. Everything was hot and fresh and delicious. The sushi was excellent. I thought the portions were small, especially the sushi rolls seemed tiny to me. That could have been better.
This is the best place I have been for sushi! The sushi is absolutely amazing and so beautifully decorated. The staff is always so friendly and kind. They always remember our order and what we like. The miso soup is delicious! I am very picky on my miso and was sold on this place after having some. The prices are amazing for what you get! I truly love this place! Highly recommend 🤤😀
Love this restaurant so much! The staff is so kind and you can tell they really care about the food they make. I recommend trying a different dish every time you visit! The chef special hand roll is incredible and you can't go wrong with any bento box. Also, don't forget to order hot tea. Goes great with every menu item!
Very busy at Lunch time, but food was worth the wait. The Pork Ramen is the best I've ever had, and I really appreciate good Japanese Food.
The cuts of Fish for my Nigiri were delicate light with a buttery texture.
I would recommend the Bento Box to anyone looking for quality Japanese fare.
