Great little spot near by downtown Redwood City. I usually park at the theater and walk here for a beer or two before seeing going to see a movie. In addition to a wide selection of German beers, they also have a solid selection of food to help you absorb all that. Especially recommend the 3 sausage
One of the best German restaurants in Bay area, GHS offers quite good selection of beers and Bavarian foods. What is great to me is that Gurkensalat, Sauerkraut are amazingly awesome! It has so refreshing, crunch taste to it. Dill is so fragrant!! Sausage is good but not made from scratch, it seems

I've been several times and will return. It's a great place to meet up with friends, which drew me there. But, the quality of the menu and staff is reason enough if you enjoy beer.
