This place just reminds me of our trip to Germany. Not only do they have delicious beer and Radler, their staffs are super friendly in this Beer hall/garden. Their food is authentically German for sure, But the curry wurst (basket) are much more spicy than those you get in Berlin. We definitely want to come back here during Oktoberfest to relive a happy moments.
This German Restaurant bar is hiding inside a very cute liquor store. It's next to a caltrain stop Redwood City. We train to have a beer.
The restaurant itself has German Vibe, for a moment I thought I was in Munich for Octoberfest.
Food is delicious. Beer is tasty. Everyone inside the bar restaurant is super happy. Staff is nice. Price is inexpensive.

Excellent service, food, and beer options. Worth trying out their restaurant/bar and trying their mulled wine and selection of draft beers. The smoked sausage and pretzel are delicious and worth trying.
Great little spot near by downtown Redwood City. I usually park at the theater and walk here for a beer or two before seeing going to see a movie. In addition to a wide selection of German beers, they also have a solid selection of food to help you absorb all that. Especially recommend the 3 sausage plate.
One of the best German restaurants in Bay area, GHS offers quite good selection of beers and Bavarian foods. What is great to me is that Gurkensalat, Sauerkraut are amazingly awesome! It has so refreshing, crunch taste to it. Dill is so fragrant!! Sausage is good but not made from scratch, it seems to me like factory-made ones. Overall it was good German experience!
Love the biergarten. Plenty of choices. I really liked the Kolsch philsner. Also love the German style biergarten sitting. Long tables that everyone shares.
The food is pretty darn good. The wife is in lust over the pretzel with cheese and salami. The schnitzel is a safe choice as is any of the brauts.
Before COVID-19, the place was usually very crowded week nights and Saturdays. Right now, not so much.
Great beer list and knowledgeable, helpful staff.
I've been several times and will return. It's a great place to meet up with friends, which drew me there. But, the quality of the menu and staff is reason enough if you enjoy beer.
