We drive out from Fresno a few times a year to eat at The Bear Club. It's kind of a hidden gem mostly known to Reedley residents. The food is always great and the staff is wonderful. Try the "crispy pork shank". The raspberry/chipotle glaze makes it like no other you've ever had! And you usually have enough to take home and nibble on later.
The service was really great. The food was just as good. I had the chicken George which was amazing. I definitely saved room for dessert. I had my favorite pistachio ice cream. Which to my surprise was homemade.
Had a Wonderful Birthday Lunch with My friend yesterday!!! Had the best crispy chicken sandwich with some delicious sweet potato fries, that were out of this world! They brought me a nice warm apple pear bread pudding that was superb! Thank you Juan���
We stopped in during a motorcycle ride and were so impressed. The staff was friendly...the bathrooms spotless and the fried zucchini with some apricot sauce was awesome. We will definitely come back for a more formal meal. Loved this place and can't wait for a full meal!
The food is absolutely the best a great value excellent service impeccable...have the lemon ice cream, it was splendid. Such a pleasure to enjoy such recipes from Jon's.!!!!!!
We love this place. It has been a favorite for years. The chef is willing to make changes to the menu. Unlike certain other locations nearby, it doesn't say no substitutions on the menu. Nice serving sizes and very tasty food. The ranch dressing is good more on the mayo side. Just consider that when selecting your dressing. You can hear people at your table when they speak. Just love it here!!
Crispy chicken thighs is a must have!! I order it every time. Butterfinger ice cream is also super yummy!!!

Whenever I have a chance to go to Reedley, I make it a "must do" and eat at Jon's Bear Club. The food is fantastic and the seasonal menu delicious!
Great Find. Although we reside in Fresno, this restaurant in Reedley is well worth the time it takes to get there! "Never disappointed" is the phrase that sticks in our minds! The variety of specials is always intriguing, the service is impeccable, and the ambience is reminiscient of a San Francisco fine dining eatery. We love Jon's crab cakes that are available as either an appetizer or entree item! Our dining experience always is superb @ Jon's Bear Club! Oh, and don't forget when you dine there to enjoy his homemade ice cream. There are always three or more choices that include seasonal favorites!
Always Consistant. This restaurant has the best service, the staff is always friendly. The kitchen does a nice job of creative daily specials that are "tasty" and the wine list offers many values.
