We went to Ruby River Steakhouse 8 years ago, and have been back again and again in the years since. The food is amazing. So amazing in fact, that when we went yesterday for our anniversary, I had the best meal I've ever had in my life! (Gorgonzola steak, jacketed baked potato, coconut shrimp, onions, apple cobbler). It made me wish I had a bigger stomach, so I could eat more (eating leftovers now!). I'm pleased to find that the service and food has remained so on-point over the years. The prices are great too. If you are on the fence, just give them a try, as I highly doubt that you will be disappointed!
My husband and I love this place. The food is excellent!! The jalapeño poppers and steak egg rolls are my husbands favorite way to start our meal. We can usually share the ribs and steak and be full!! I tried the garlic butter steak last night and it just melted in my mouth. I almost forgot to mention the fresh sourdough, I’m not usually a fan, but theirs is sooooo yummy!! I definitely recommend skipping the buffets and coming here!! ��
I had the peppered bacon wrapped sirloin steak, and it brought a tear to my eye. Perfectly cooked to a medium rare, and just full of flavor. First time there by recommendation of my son and it was by far best steak I have had in a very long time. I will absolutely be back.
The food was delivered very fast and was amazing!! my steak was perfectly cooked and the bill was not scary at all!! fed 4 people for not much and drinks with monster good food!! if I lived there I would be fatter than hell!
My wife and i and my sister and brother in law ate their last night for the first time. We all had steak and shrimp the food was excellent and the waitress and staff were all great. The Fast service surprised us being Friday night the steak melted in our mouth. Definitely will be going back.
Ruby river is my absolute favorite place to eat! Whenever I get the chance I'm there without hesitation. The food is delicious! Their steaks, appetizers, literally anything I order always comes out flavorful and tastes amazing! 10/10 would recommend that everyone eats here at least once in their lifetime, you'll be coming back for sure <3
Just celebrated my 40th bday there, great service, food was fantastic, our server Justin was awesome, highly recommend !
Only had about 10 minute wait. The server was one of the best, my son is also a server but not here, so I know when I have someone who knows how to do their job well.He brought our drinks immediately, salads were served quickly and were delicious, bread was warm and delicious!
The baked potatoes were the best I gave ever had! I has the filet mignon and husband had the Porterhouse steak. Everything was absolutely wonderful. We will definitely return on our next trip to Reno!
Wow, wow, wow. We had the free appetizer via their website..shrimp cocktail � big shrimp. I had the Ribeye med rare, perfect with green salad snd sautéed mushrooms. Hubby had Parm Chicken with sautéed mushroom and the jacketed potato � marvelous! And of course a Ruby-tini! Smooth. Dress is casual, jeans are fine. I mean you get peanuts at your table! We will be back!
Ruby river has been ours/friends go to restaurant when we are in reno. I personally have been eating here since the late 90's and have never been disappointed with food or service. Have been there when it's packed to the walls & when slow food is always on point see you guys soon!!
One of my favorite places to eat. The food is amazing. The service is decent for such a busy place. My favorite is the grilled shrimp.
