Absolutely diabolical!! Just arrived to the worst experience we've ever had! $71 + tip for 3 scrambled eggs, bacon, 2 diet cokes and a water!! Hardly any stations open and what was open had trays empty or minimum available. Only ham and turkey available on the meat station. No salad and a big queue for pho! We should've been told when paying that most of the stations were closed! Only donuts and ice cream available for dessert! GSR you have lost a loyal customer today! Disgusted!!
Edit: just spoke to a manager who ARGUED with me that when breakfast is being served nothing else is available and "it's always been like this!" That is a lie!! Don't waste your money! Toucan Charlie's at Atlantis is way better!! We went a couple of weeks ago and everything is available, aside from premium items served at dinner!!

Lately, I've been once for a dinner and once for a Holiday brunch. On both occasions, the food stations and choices have been mediocre at best. The desserts were on point! Keep the awesome pie choices coming! My son enjoyed the ice cream and cookies. I especially love their Lemon Meringue.

They offier very good military discount for up to party of 4. Very grateful as a military personnel. I used Brunch (or Breakfast) buffet, and it was great! There are not many salad options, but I assume it is because it is a breakfast buffet. Will check later for the dinner, but I think it is better than Atlantis Buffet considering the price.

Very, very disappointed. Very expensive and low grade quality. They did have excellent customer service. The food made me sick. Such a bummer. It used to be my favorite buffet!

I came here for the "Rib Fest" today and it was NOT what I had in mind. There were only 2 choices of ribs. And the baby back ribs were very hard to chew and were burned. The crab was cold (frozen cold). It tasted weird. Not much of a food selection. The apple juice was good. The cheesecake slice was salty. The Crème brûlée was alright. Won't be coming back.

Worst Sunday brunch in Reno. I went about 6 months ago and got food poisoning. I wanted to give them another chance. I didn't get sick but I was do disappointed. They advertise seafood with crab, mussels and oysters. Only rock crab and peel & eat shrimp. Rock crab had no flavor, soaked in water too long! Some tasted like it had been sitting out too long as it was quite dry. Eggs Benedict were cold and eggs overcooked, very little hollandaise sauce. No one available to ask for warm or hot food. I even complained to server, he didn't offer solution. Bacon was so thin you could see through it. Server was preoccupied with visiting too long at certain tables, not proactive in taking care of all customers. I didn't even want to eat any further. I left, hungry and disappointed. $40. later, I won't be going back. I'll continue to eat at Atlantis, never disappoints!

We came at 1 pm for Sunday Brunch. Lots of breakfast options (cheese blintzes were great!) but not much in the way of lunch options. Burgers, sausages, prime rib, turkey, and the excellent dessert bar/gelato were the highlights. Many made to order stations but nothing really caught the eye, except the pho station looked excellent, but always seemed busy, so we skipped it.
They had stated made to order pasta was available but it was clearly for just omelettes, asian cuisine, italian (mainly pizza), a pho station that looked good, and a taco bar. Had some raw oysters which tasted very fishy and tons of sand right in sight on the shell...how did the station attendants not clean these correctly?
We were about to leave just before 2 and all employees were seated in the back dining area we were seated as well. Totally understand employees needing to eat, but it was awkward for us being seated there...and I'm sure the employees, too.
There was an hour left before the place closed and it felt closed already....
However, our server was very attentive...all servers did seem to be on top of it!!
There was barely any guests in the dining room when we came in which was strange since we always go to Toucan Charlie's and usually have a wait at this time. Just seemed awkward...like we were not welcome and in the way. Tried this place to switch it up, but we won't be returning. Very very basic fare for a ridiculous price.
Update...think I got sick from the food here. :(
Think it was Vibrio from the raw oysters. Put them in mouth but they tasted disgusting so I spat them out. Must have been enough to cause extreme swelling of face (lips, chin, tongue), stomach cramping, itching, and hives. I've had raw oysters many times, and never had this problem. Ended up at Urgent Care later that night.
To say we're not ever coming back is an understatement...

This buffet Décor is nothing really exciting. 1st thing I tried the prime rib. What a disgusting piece of meat. Tough like leather and the fat on it was yellowish green. The Asian food was good. Pho great. All they had in the seafood section was shrimp but it was delicious. They had creme brulee which was perfect! The salad bar was good with lots of variety. They have Italian and American cuisine. The prices for this buffet were pretty good. $20.99 for dinner. If you are a veteran, over 55 or a local you get 20% off. Service was good. There is no restroom inside the buffet. The restroom is located outside to the right. Restrooms clean however the toilets are practically on the floor.
