Great tacos. Better than expected. Tried an "authentic " mexican joint later that day . Enjoyed Jimboy's much better. Will definitely visit next time we're in town!

You have to know what you're here for. It's fast food. The priority is speed, and they clearly try to squeeze as much quality as they can into their product while keeping the quick-paced mentality.
The food is fresh and delicious. It isn't gourmet, and isn't trying to be. But they are quick and consistent!
Dining room is larger than you'd expect, and the space was clean and organized.
Jim Boys, started in Tahoe but seems it became what it is in Reno and Sparks. They have been around 40+ years and everything they make is great. It is known, at least in my circle for their unique and wonderful beef tacos. They are something you must try for yourself. Any description I try would not give them true justice. If you get the chance stop and give it a try. When you see the arterial plugging grease ignore it cuz it's part of the greatness.
They were really busy with a late rush on a Sunday night. The speaker in the drive thru was acting crazy. The person taking orders kept cool and got accurate orders out fast! Pretty great service from such a tiny location!
Now these are some bomb 🌮 tacos ! I wish the quesadilla was bigger but 🤷🏾♀️. The rice and beans are delicious and let's not forget the famous tasting fries/wedges they have! Just go there you won't be disappointed 👏🏾
I love Jimboy's Tacos! Every time I go through Reno I stop at this location, it has a nice dining area and it's pretty big. They're always very friendly and the food is delicious! I always get a bean burrito and a ground beef taco with mild salsa cups. Classic and amazing! I'll be stopping by again in a couple days on my way back through town. Can't miss it!
