Old school steak house where you can get a juicy dry-aged steak with a super dry martini! Excellent service and a nice wine list with lots of local gems. The price is right! This place is getting some notoriety, so it is best to make a reservation.

My hubby and I went there for the first time last night and, I must say, it was/is the best restaurant in Renton and their steak is fabulous! This is going to be our “date night” place to go. The service was terrific, sitting at the bar was fabulous, and everything was exceptional! A must place to go!!
Enjoyed our Anniversary at the Melrose. It was our first time there and it didn’t disappoint. Lisa was our server and was outstanding great attention to detail and very attentive. We finished the evening with a nightcap in the bar lisa introduced us to Franco one of the owners and he was a terrific host. It happened to be the night they found out they won Evening Magazines best Steakhouse. Great night will definitely go back!
This is the standard in high end steaks I ordered the Ribeye it was cooked flawlessly tender juicy exceeded my expectations. This is a few steps above your franchise style steakhouses. This place is a little loud but it ok you won't be able to focus on anything but your steak. Service is very good they are very tentative and polite. Make reservation if you want to get right in this place fills up quickly.
Always the best. Every time! Excellent service and consistently amazing food! My husbands king crab was SO good and fresh! My rack of lamb was cooked to perfection! Our favorite restaurant!!

The Melrose Grill is fantastic! It is absolutely worth the price. The food is delicious every time no matter what you order, the staff is very respectful, attentive, and friendly, and the atmosphere is really nice. We always look forward to going here.
Fantastic! I had the pleasure of dining here tonight for the first time. I wasn’t aware of how amazing it was or I would have made a reservations (Lesson learned)
The entire experience was top notch. From the intimate atmosphere to the friendly and attentive staff. Stellar service all the way around. We even enjoyed some random conversations with other patrons while waiting on the main course. Overall I am now a fan and will definitely be frequenting as much as possible.

Just another great meal here. A bit too loud at times but service was excellent as always.
Best little steakhouse in the south end. The Cajun seafood linguine is so delicious, just enough heat that even those who don't like overly spicy dishes will enjoy. Sausage pairs nicely with the scallops and shrimp. Save some bread to soak up the yummy sauce if you don't like to lick the plates in public. The rack of lamb was cooked to perfection as ordered and the parmesan roasted potatoes had just enough crunch to the cheesy skins. Our server Paul was most helpful in choosing the best wine to pair with our entire meal.
We visit a few times a year. We are never and I mean NEVER disappointed in our service, food or drinks. Make your reservations and go! Steak is our standard go to, but we went outside our lines and got the Melrose Stroganoff and the Cajun Seafood this time. Their staff is attentive, kind and knows the offerings very well.

The general manager Franco was nice enough to squeeze our party of 11 very last minute to help celebrate my sister's birthday. This is her favorite restaurant and we wanted to share it with the rest of the family as to why it is.
Of course it was a hit! Everyone enjoyed their meal and it was well seasoned. From the steak to the salmon to the veggies. Everything was perfection.
Would definitely bring the family again.
Great experience, we ended up walking in on our Anniversary without a reservation and were seated with ten minutes of arrival! We ordered the Filet Oscar-Style plus grilled prawns and the salmon then finished with the lemon tart and peach crisp. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sides were great but it could've gone without the zucchini. Overall an excellent experience for food and service.
We sat at the bar for dinner. Service was good. My steak was a nice medium rare. But my mash potatoes were too soggy and my husband's steak was well done instead of medium rare and his rice pilaf was too dry.

28th Wedding Anniversary dinner disaster averted. We had a reservation at another restaurant, but we ended up walking out. My husband and I were determined to salvage the night and look for another restaurant. On a Saturday night without reservation I know it would be a challenge. We were set on having steak, but we do not want to drive to Seattle or Tacoma. Google'd steak restaurant in a nearby area and appeared, "Melrose Grill" with 4.7 Google rating. When we arrived we were greeted by the host Jason, I let him know that we didn't have a reservation but would really appreciate it if they could accommodate us for our Anniversary Dinner. This was our first time at Melrose Grill. Only took about 10 minutes and we were seated. Everything about this place is well deserving of the 5 star rating. Everyone is professional, courteous, and knows the value of great customer service. Our server was Karen. She's attentive, knowledgeable and overall an awesome server. We will definitely ask to be seated in her area in the future. Everything served was delicious, bread was fresh, salads were dressed well, steak was flavorful and the right temp and desserts were good too. There is ample parking across the street. The staff at Melrose Grill saved the night and for that they gained a repeat customer for life. I am in the profession where I meet a lot of people everyday and I will not have a second thought in referring diners to this place.
Family took me out for my birthday dinner I was all set to get the usual Delmonico Steak, but they had A5 Wagyu on Special last night so I had to try it, the 6oz cut was delicious and paired with King Crab Leg made it Awesome Birthday meal. Our server I believe his name was Angel or Angelo was Super Friendly and Awesome.
