Atmosphere nice & friendly. Seems like everyone know everyone. Did steak, med well. (Little pink). Came well. Keep.that in mind when you dine there. So it was tough. They wanted to know if all ok. Didn't have the heart unless terrible I won't send back. Me... I either order different next time or don't go.back. but that's me. Loved the country music that the play.
The rolls were soft, warm, and buttery. I enjoyed the rib eye steak and the mushrooms came in a larger portion than I expected (pleasant surprise). There's free peanuts as well, and people just toss the shells on the floor.
Service was also good; waiter was friendly and attentive.
Good BBQ experience, with pork shoulder, chicken, butter mushrooms, and a salad.
Atmosphere was relaxed and easy going with peanuts to munch on before the meal.
Pork was decent, chicken...little dry, but still good with the bacon and cheese. Might go back, but not NEEDING to go back.
Great food, great staff, and good portions. If you are from other places (this hits a lot of the Midwest food notes for me) and miss good food from that direction, check this out! It might hit your pallet as a gift also. Also it's worth noting that the owner replies to almost every post and I love that. Negative or positive they make sure that they let you know they heard you and that's a real big plus to me thank you owner for taking the time to review our posts!
Was craving steak. What? A Texas style steak roadhouse in seattle? Lets check em out.......well what can I say...this Texas native went home with a grand ole smile on his face. Best comparison, Texas Roadhouse meets Logans. Those who know, know. Cuts behind a glass window. Peanut shells all over the floor. Hot yeast rolls served with a whipped honey butter as you are seated. Hostess was sweet and attentive to detailed. Even wiped dry the table before I sat down. My waitress Kristi was nice and attentive. I did not want to spoil my meal so I kept it simple. No appetizer and water. Took it slow with the rolls. Went with their Katy's filet. Well as a Texan had to Texasize it. So i did their 14 oz Texas size Katy filet instead of the 7 oz medium. Asked to try their peppercorn sauce. Loaded baked potato on the side with a ceasar salad. Salad arrived pre meal. Fresh pepper? Sure why not. Waited maybe 10 to 15 min or so and the main course arrived. Table runner waited for me to cut into my steak.......oooh did it look medium with a bit on the med rare side. Perfect. Seasoned well. Might ask for a bit lighter next time. Dont like salty food. My person palette preference. The steak melted in my mouth. Sauce just enhanced its flavor with each bite. Steak didnt need it but they paired well together. Like i always do, mixed my loaded potato into a halve mashed loaded baked tato....yuuum....Needless to say a great steak Texas dinner in the Northwest. Props to the cook and thank you for helping me find a piece of home away from home. Texas my Texas 🥲❤😁
Good service and good steak. My Ribeye was kinda thin and I'm not used to this, but it came out as ordered medium rare, and it did taste great. I had an IPA beer, loaded baked potato (they nailed it 10/10 on the loaded tato), and a ceaser salad with my steak that all fit very well together. I was stuffed! And they also great you with fluffy hot dinner rolls, and some sort of delish sweet butter. I would definitely return again with an emptier stomach 😋
Stopped by for a quick anap while waiting for my friends vehicle to have an oil change done right across the street so it was convenient to walk to. Ordered an appetizer that looked like a full meal when it was brought out! Had the best black tea/lemonade! Neat place with peanut shells all over lol. Server was very nice.
Place is great! Service was extremely quick, not in a strange way though. The staff were kind and attentive. Food was awesome. My wife got a steak, medium, made exactly how she wanted. I got the smokin' combo, which was excellent. Everyone is given some rolls to start their meal and peanuts, if you want. Shells of the nuts can be thrown on the ground, FYI. Would highly recommend!
