This was our first visit and we will definitely be back. The service was great and the food was delicious. I had the best Manhattan which took me by surprise. Tried the Seafood Paella and it was incredible! Generous portion and the flavor was amazing.
The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The atmosphere was chill and relaxing. We may have found our new favorite Italian Restaurant.
Phenomenal food at reasonable prices. The pasta was excellent, portion size was perfect, and the staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. There is usually an extensive selection of specials, including superb steaks. Fantastic wine selection as well.
I would say the portion itself was generous. What you see before you is the seafood Paella with grilled salmon, battered crunch shrimp, grilled chicken, and chicken sausage. The risotto was to be a saffron infused risotto. Unfortunately I'd give it about 6.5 out of 10 as the risotto itself tasted extremely fishy. Needles to say, the rest of the meal was amazing. The mussels were prepared well and not under done nor rubbery. They're in house bread is a knockout especially the olive oil blend they have. The flavor is heavenly and really compliments the bread. I would love to try other items in their menu as this was good, but not my personal favorite. I look forward to updating this review later on down the road when we return. The waiter was also very attentive but not pushy , which made the dinner that much more enjoyable. I'm really glad we found this spot!
Came here for the first time to celebrate valentines day and it was packed. Husband had reservations so we were seated fairly quickly once the hostess came back to the front. No designated parking lot but we found street parking. Similar to others reviews experience drinks and appetizers came out promptly but it took about an hour for our entrees to come out it was a bit of a wait but understandable given covid lots of restaurants have been understaffed. We ordered from their valentines pre-fixie menu the salad and the mozz app and the rib eye and the filet mignon for our entrees the food was good. The highlight was their tiramisu not too sweet and just wonderful. We would come back and recommend to others craving laid back Italian food and ambiance.
I rated it a four and listed as a $10-20 per person for reasons that will follow. The reason lower rating is throughout this long winded story so bear with me. For the price listing is because I'd say at least half of their menu hits this but you need to be very careful about extras and things because they definitely do charge for pretty much everything. I ordered off the menu (a $36 salmon meal that I need to ask about the price on because I had no idea - that wasn't the first thing out of their mouth which I feel if it's off menu you really need to see the price first or last), I needed to substitute in noodles because I didn't realize the noodles they prepared for me I couldn't eat and they charged me $2 without notifying me to accommodate my request. I don't like it when people don't notify you of charges. Otherwise the waiter was very nice and very informative but for some reason skirted around how much things cost. Maybe they thought we were loaded I don't know how I came in a t-shirts and pajamas pants. Is that the New wealth style? Maybe since covid I don't know.
On the flip side the food is very good. The staff was very attentive. Though it almost strangled my bank account I still tipped them a good portion, though I had to split on two different cards. The atmosphere is also pretty nice.
Service was attentive and considerate. I had the parm with pasta. The cutlet was perfectly cooked, it had just the perfect balance of breading, cheese, and sauce. The pasta was not drowned in sauce and complemented the protein. I would highly recommend trying at least once. Several items are made inhouse daily and I'm looking forward to my next visit.
Marianna's is a great little spot..! Warm and inviting, and the ambiance is fitting of somewhere you'd enjoy spending time savoring a meal. Overall a nice place to go for a Friday or Saturday night dinner date. The pasta dishes are very good with their house made sauces and original flavors. I had the sausage rigatoni (a favorite), and my wife enjoyed the lobster ravioli. If you think you made a meal decision, make sure to ask about the off-menu specials, they'll tempt your pallet and you might just change your mind. The staff is friendly & attentive, and our server (bartender) David came to the table with a smile, and took pride in the presentation of his cocktails. I tried "The Godfather", a bourbon drink with some citris zest. My wife chose a traditional lemon drop martini and it was crafted perfectly, not too sweet, not too sour...it was just right! Whether in the mood for a drink or an evening meal out, put Marianna Ristorante on your list of spots to try in the downtown Renton area.
The prices are reasonable. Some things are on the more affordable end, but some are prices you'd see at a high end steak house. Overall, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed.
