06/08/22: I met a girlfriend for dinner at Monta and we had a good time. The place wasn’t packed and service was friendly and fast. I think this Monta is better than the Las Vegas location. This location is probably twice the size as the Vegas one.
It was a decent bowl of black garlic oil tonkotsu
Found this hidden gem while doing Saturday errands. Stopped by this noodle house. Got the spicy Taiwanese ramen. Super good and chill little restaurant. Was not busy at all.
The ramen is great, but not a perfect Japanese flavor. The karake (fried chicken) is awesome, I would like to have it every time I go to this restaurant.
Okay, hear me out... Ramen was good. Came here with some friends and our waiter, 'Daman', was disrespectful and not courteous by any stretch of the word. No hospitality bone in the man's body, just not a pleasant person. I just think he's in the wrong field of work. Perhaps something with less human
Ramen!
We love Ramen and tried this place today. Very good broth and noodles tasted homemade!
Had the Tsukemen original and my wife had the spicy Taiwanese ramen. Both were great but We preferred the Tsukemen broth. Tasted like something we usually get on the west coast.
Ordered tonkatsu to go, everything seems like an extra charge. Flavor of the broth was too salty and not really great and didn't taste like tonkatsu.
Food was luke warm, not very tasty and no gluten free noodle option. Further, bowls only come with one measly thin piece of meat and you have to pay $2.50 for two other small measly pieces...I paid $20 bucks for a bowl that wasnt even as good or filling as a normal bowl somewhere else. I love Ramen
One of my top ramen shops in the DFW area, with extremely friendly service.
The Kuro is very nice, not many places offer black garlic.
Would very much recommend.
