We had the best meal ever last night at Apollonia's--the place was rocking! I had the pork skewers over Romer's amazing mushroom risotto and Chuck had the stuffed pork chop with the best side of spinach you'll find anywhere.
Featured apps we enjoyed last night were the eggplant rollatini and crab-stuffed mushrooms. Perfectly done! We love eggplant, and it's hard to find unique preparations like this one.

Whenever we want Italian, this is where we come. The most authentic Italian Bistro in town with family recipes handed down from the old country. Stuffed mushroom apetizer is my favorite. The bread rolls are perfect, crispy outside & fluffy on the inside. They make Lasagna the way it's supposed to be done, pasta is always aldente, and you can tell the sauce is made with love. Whether you are in the mood for something light or something hearty they have an option for you. The menu has a wide variety of traditional dishes available but they also have a specials board that has something new and amazing to choose. I recently had an awesome Pork Oso Bucco that just fell off the bone.
Not only do they have the best food, but the bartender also serves some great martini options. My absolute favorite is the Italian Wedding Cake Martini, it really does taste like your drinking the cake; they also have seasonal options like Watermelon, or Blueberry. When it comes to deserts you can actually have the real thing, Tiramisu, Coconut cream pie, warm apple spice cake, Italian Wedding cake yumm. Like, I said earlier, these are family recipes and you can tell they are authentic right down to the love and care in which they are made.
To top off the evening we listened to one of the best live bands I've herd in a long time; catering to the 50+ crowd. In the past we were entertained by a guy who sings Sinatra and let me tell you he's really good! The bottom line is I throughly enjoyed my dinner & the show; an evening out with a feeling of being at home with family & friends.
What a wonderful place! From the time we were greeted by the very friendly staff (multiple times by different people as we walked in), to our OUTSTANDING server Elizabeth, to wonderful, home-cooked Italian food, our first experience here was a very memorable one.
I would very highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, cozy place with great food and even better people. If I could give it a sixth star, I would.
Enjoyed a fabulous, simple lunch with my friend Shelley Majors yesterday. We shared mussels in white sauce, and she had a pizza with pancetta while I had Italian Wedding Soup and Mediterranean salad. All was delicious and we really enjoyed the service. Our waiter was fun, charming and an easy conversationalist on topics from life in upstate New York, to music, to old-school pro and college basketball and more. Great food, great team.
I am so excited to know about this place! Amazing pizza and pasta-- I dream about it! So happy to have a great restaurant to go where the staff is equally as great as the food. It's worth the 20 minute drive.

Pizza to die for, ditto the lasagna. Daily blackboard specials, good wine selections. Special wine tasting events too.
A neighborhood treasure! Apollonia's is hands-down our favorite restaurant in the area, whether it's for lunch on their outdoor patio (especially this time of year), a casual dinner with our grandkids, or one of their 5-star wine dinners. The atmosphere and warm, welcoming staff will make you feel like you're part of the family, and the food is delicious and plentiful!
Great value, especially with the huge portions they graciously serve. Try their Littleneck Clams & Linguini with a Caesar Salad, or the meatballs - they're divine.

When you walk in the smell makes you immediately hungry.. like you Italian grand mother was cooking dinner.. it is great food!

Everything is handmade. The pasta, the sauces, the desserts, the salad dressing, THE BREAD!!! OMG the bread is amazing!
This is our first time here and my husband didn't talk until he finished his lasagna. Then he said, "oh my God, baby...this lasagna was SO good!"
We did the 2 for Tuesday special. 1 Large salad, 2 pastas, bottle of wine for $39. That's a deal! The lasagna portions are huge (I shared with my mom and still had some to take home). There's also 1/2 price wine bottles on Wednesdays.

The meal recommendations were on point and so tasty! We had the pasta alla vodka and we also got the chicken parm.
I can’t wait to bring all of my friends here. The food was fresh and got to our table in a timely manner. My drink was never empty and the conversation with Celeste was very pleasant.

Good homemade Italian food. Always like to try their specials each week. You get a good portion of food for the cost. The waitresses are always friendly and make good food recommendations. The carbonara is one of my favorites
