First time trying Indian food and it was delicious. Owners were wonderful and helped describe the different foods that's were available.
The food is good and well seasoned - no denying that. The menu options are interesting and the combos (that you can customize) are nice/not something you see everywhere. The owner also makes an effort to do boneless meat in as many dishes as he can which I appreciate since I also don’t like having to fiddle with bones while eating.
You can choose your spice level - I asked for above level 5 after telling him the Level 5 at most places I go to isn’t quite enough, he told me he definitely understood but the food ended up having a very mild spice anyways, I’m assuming they forgot to make it spicy since it was around a level 2-3 or so.
One gripe I have with ordering here is that you’ll order your dish and then he’ll ask “and the naan?” leading you to think that it’s included - it’s not, it’s an extra $4. Personally I think that’s overpriced in the first place but the wording should be different.
Visited many times and the food is consistently delicious, hot, and very generous! Always happy to support local , family owned businesses. AJ cares about his clients satisfaction. Some of the best Indian cuisine you’ll find!
I grew up in the US, so I’m no professor of Indian food. But I can say that this is not just good Indian food, it is just good food. I am always pleasantly surprised by how good it really is. I would come here more often if I lived or worked closer. Everybody that I’ve seen working here is pleasant. Give it a try.
Friendly. Food is tasty. Lots of options.
Best Indian lunch buffet I’ve found. I’ve been to quite a few Indian restaurants but this one have been a favorite for 20 years.
Since 1981,Kebab & Kurry has been serving Authentic Indian Cuisine off of Hwy. 75 near Beltline in Richardson. I have known the owner since 2001. Great Buffet as well as off the menu.
