Burger island in Richardson. This is NOT some fancy-pants, upscale, snooty, new age burger place! This is a hardcore, Saturday Night Live/John Belushi kind of burger joint with plastic tablecloths and excellent burgers! Extremely nice staff, fresh made and reasonably priced food. Expect a bit of a wait - it takes a while to get that 1/2 pound patty cooked to perfection.

This place is Great! Way better than most and worth finding! It is a hole in the wall visually but you're gonna love it. I had the jalapeño burger & friends had other things and all raved!
Good value for the money - noting that it was cheaper compare to other burger stands, but at the end its only burger and it does not stand out as much for me. Overall good burgers, cheap, fast and clean dining place.
Good Value for the Money. I really stewed on this review. In the end, the huge burger and great meat flavor coupled with the full meal price under $10 caused me to give it a thumbs up. I did enjoy the huge burger with quality meat flavor. I did not like the over-salted fries, decor, or service. No one talks, says hello or tries to help you. The decor is half cool tropical and half hole-in-the-wall. It doesn't work. Come here because of the value and great burger flavor.
You guys have to try the JUNGLE. The jalapeño makes the great combination with huge and fresh patty. Clam strip is excellent. Price is awesome too.
Easily the Best Burger Place in Town. I am a very big Foodie/Food fanatic, I love trying food from different places, I had been hunting for the perfect burger in Dallas and I can say I might have just found it. BI is an awesome place with succulent and tasty burgers. I have tried the Island Burger, the Jungle Burger and the Philly Cheese Steak they were excellent. Some may argue they are not authentic but if they can be soo tasty I will not complain. Their Burgers have a small Mexican influence to them but I absolutely love their food.
This has become my Girlfriend and my favorite Burger place. If you love Burgers I will recommend this place to you for sure.

This is a place that from the outside I would never eat at. However I was in a group and we went...wow. one of the best burgers I have eaten. Lots of great burger choices, toppings,cheese.
Huge burgers!. I don't eat beef and I love this place! They have chicken and turkey options with all kinds of toppings. The burgers are huge and flavorful. We usually order our food to go. The fries are ok but nothing special (we usually make our own at home), and salads are large and a great price.
Best philly cheesesteak in town. Not just burgers!
Fantastic Old-Fashioned Burgers. Tiny little place, clean but not fancy, and the food is really top notch. And very inexpensive, for less than $10 you can get your choice of burger or sandwich, fries and a soft drink and leave a buck tip. Chili cheeseburger is to die for, there's so much homemade chili on it that you have to eat it with a knife and fork. And the fries are not frozen, they're the real thing. If you're looking for atmosphere, go somewhere else, but if you want a great burger, Burger Island in Richardson (or in Plano) is your place to go.
Good burger, great fries. Food was slow to arrive, but they did make everything fresh to order.
Decent burgers. Good, but too salty and greasy.
Good Turkey Burger. You can tell they make their own. Great flavor and filling. I will definately be back!

Real ground meat! Not a processed beef patty. Juicy full of flavor. Hands down better than all the burger joints! I had the Jungle burger!! I will follow up and visit again!
I was there with my family and we ordered chicken philly and fries. It was one of the best i ever had. My kid loved the fries and he is very picky with foods. Great customer service and hospitality. The cashier was very nice and greeted us as soon as we got in . Will definitely go back to try some more.

The awesome staffing was very helpful in answering and making substitutes to the combo. As we were leaving a customer approached coworker stating I ordered this for her, a chocolate malt. I learned and liked what she was saying. I thanked her for gifting me! You never know whom you are helping, listening to your conversation, just be very careful, speaking love and positive when doing so!💗
Loved the burger! They have lots of variety and the size is great. Just make sure to pop the holes on the top of your containers (they're built into the corners) if you're doing take out, or your stuff's gonna get soggy.
